August was amazing! 🙂‍↔️❤️‍🔥It’s been a busy one filled with reunions, foodie adventures, & pouring my heart into a passion project. Also celebrated Raksha Bandhan—so grateful for those precious moments with my brothers and cousins 🥹

Creamy Mushroom Soup cuz it's soo damn cold ❄️😰🍄

I like my soup a little chunky so I did some extra steps. So this is inspired by @cookingwithsonal_ mushroom soup!

2 punets of chestnut mushrooms, sliced
1 white onion, diced
3 cloves of garlic, diced
1 tsp of Kashmiri chilli flakes (optional - I like spice)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 leek sliced
1 tub of double cream
1 vegetable stock cube in 500ml of boiling water

1. Take some butter and olive oil and fry the mushroom until all of the water has evaporated. Take these out and in a small bowl take a couple of spoonfuls out for later.

2. Again add some olive oil and cook the onions, garlic and chilli flakes until the onions are translucent. Add the leeks and cook until soft.

3. Put the big pot of mushrooms back into the pan and add the stock cube and water into the pan. Add your salt and pepper to taste. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 mins.

4. Use a blender and blend the soup, half way through and add some of the cream. Continue to blend.

5. Serve immediately, I add a handful of some of the mushrooms I fried earlier with a swirl of cream and fresh cracked black pepper.

Creme Egg & Mini Egg Easter Cheesecake 🤍 Recipe: @cookingwithsonal_

Hey Superfoodies 🐣
I'm EXTREMELY excited to announce #angelisfoodiefeature where I'll be cooking up YOUR delicious recipes in my kitchen on camera & showing you how it went 🎥💃

I'm extremely excited to start with this Easter dessert by the beautiful Sonal of @cookingwithsonal_ which I made as a treat for this weekend. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to give it a go and it went down a treat 🍪🍫

I'll repost Sonal's recipe in my stories for you all to give it a try! It was easy to follow and tastes SO good!

Ingredients that I used:
- digestive biscuits
- unsalted butter @lidlgb
- original cream cheese @asda
- icing sugar
- vanilla extract @holylamaspicedrops
- mini eggs @cadburyuk
- mini creme eggs @cadburyuk
- grated dark chocolate @lidlgb

Changes that I made:
- I doubled the recipe (4 people)
- I halved a cream egg and put it on the biscuit base before adding the cream cheese
- I used @holylamaspicedrops Vanilla extract

I really enjoyed filming this and I hope you all enjoy it too 💃💃

The timing could not have been better for this giveaway win from @cookingwithsonal_ as a little pre-birthday treat! 🥳🧁 These gorgeous individual bitesize sushi style cakes in 12 unique flavours arrived on my doorstep yesterday in brightly coloured packaging that really brought a smile to my face as I opened it up 🥰 ⁣

The cakes are so pretty but I didn’t waste any time devouring the lot (with some help of course I didn’t eat them all myself 😂) ⁣
A couple of the flavours were harder to distinguish but the highlights were the 𝕃𝕖𝕞𝕠𝕟 𝕊𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕓𝕖𝕥 🍋, the 𝕋𝕣𝕚𝕡𝕝𝕖 ℂ𝕙𝕠𝕔𝕠𝕝𝕒𝕥𝕖 🍫 (surprisingly as I’m not into rich chocolate but this was just amazing!)⁣
and the 𝕊𝕥𝕣𝕒𝕨𝕓𝕖𝕣𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕤 𝕒𝕟𝕕 ℂ𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕞 was easily number one...I would have a tray of just these to myself 😍🍓⁣

Thank you so much @yum_yum_sushi_desserts for this gorgeous treat, I’m not that much of a desserts/cake person but these were so much more than I was expecting both in taste and appearance 💕 I loved the bitesize pieces, just the right amount for me and they were so soft and flavoursome 😋🍰⁣
