Day two in Costa Rica. Driving along the coast in the rainy season is not for the faint of heart. We crossed the sketchiest bridge in the Western hemisphere only to come across an impassable river, so we had to go back over it. On the plus side, we did see the biggest iguana I've ever seen in my life. And I did get to drive through a river (there's a video, but libby said I was cussing the whole time 🤭)!

We stumbled upon a totally cool little beach with surf polished agates and the sweetest little family living at the end of the world. After drinking two coco we moved on to Playa Carillo, where we stayed the night. For dinner, we went to Samara and ate on the beach, sampling the 2-for-1 happy hour Caipirinha...and margaritas...along with way too much food. #puravida #playacarillo

Day one in Costa Rica. We woke up in Coco Beach and went to an amazing little beach for some snorkeling and sun bathing. We saw countless tropical fish, sea urchins, and an absolutely amazing Harlequin shrimp and had an entire beach all to ourselves. We then went to Tamarindo for a sunset booze cruise, which ended up with us sailing through a thunderstorm! We ended the night back at our room in the Pipe House, a surf camp with rooms built in cement cylinders. Many good memories and adventures, and we're just one day into the trip. #puravida #costarica #pipehouse

We're on a boat! And, yes, we did play the Lonely Island song and Sailing by Christopher Cross. I don't care if I'm basic, it's my life. #sandiegobay #thatsailinglife #technicallyayacht #imabasicbitch

Super fun Saturday with an amazing woman. We started with an 11 mile run around the bay, then we went to the local bar to watch Caitlin Clark and Iowa, and finally we finished the day watching our friends get married. 10/10 day, would do again. #missionbay #westcoastsmokeandtaphouse #caitlinclark #lukeandkelly #notlukeandlaura #secretgarden

Celebrating Valentine's Day a few days late with the best partner in crime I could ever ask for. She's gorgeous, she's always up for adventure, she knows what she wants, she has an insatiable thirst for justice, and she's a total fucking snack. Breakfast in bed, a nine mile run, tide pools, puzzle time at home, Ruth's Chris for dinner with the best server we've ever had, and then a walk on the boardwalk. An amazing day from beginning to end. #breakfastinbed #sandiegobay #tidepools #starfish #leopardsharkegg #daouvineyards #caymusvineyards #ruthschris #seescandies #bestdayever #eugeneisthefuckingbest #mywifeisabadass
