Working with near perfection on the daily, it can be easy to forget the beauty of a snapshot.

With the on-going haze in Singapore resulting in shoot postponements, some time freed up to process two rolls of film I've had sitting in the fridge since March this year.

Unfortunately, through processing these rolls shot on my Mamiya 7, it seems the camera's developed some light leaking issues or perhaps some kind of hazing on the lens which is a little disappointing.

The kitchen was planned around more than just cooking.

In a home where family gathers often, the kitchen becomes a place for much more than preparing meals. Coffee, quick breakfasts, snacks and conversations all become part of its everyday use.

Rather than making everything happen in one place, we gave these smaller routines their own pockets within the kitchen.

Everyone can be doing something different, but still be together.

In this year’s copy of @betapluspublishing’s Timeless Living coffee table book, our very first project with @soil.studios in Hainan is featured, marking the first of a series of on-going collaborations.

—

We’ve got a number of projects published, beautifully printed in a series of books, brochures, and magazines over the last couple of years.

With how quickly and informally media is shared these days, it’s frankly difficult to trace where much of our work gets printed, but we’ve been lucky with many of our amazing clients and collaborators who have generously shared copies of these books with us.

Of-course nothing beats thumbing through these pages in person, but we’re taking some time now to carefully document our favourites so we can share them with you here.

The study was never meant to feel like a separate room.

Tucked behind the living room, it gives two people a proper place to work without completely separating them from the rest of the home.

Open at both ends, it offers just enough privacy when you are seated within it, while still keeping you connected to what is happening outside.

A quieter pocket within the home, rather than a room closed away from it.

Our latest work with @omgatelier takes us to a home that sits on a narrow but deep site with multiple green pockets.

Inside, living spaces work themselves around a planted courtyard, functioning to let light and air into common areas when large sliding and bifold doors are kept open.
