30 year old slab that’s been hanging around since I was a kid. Dad and I finally got some time in the shop while he’s been here to make some fun pieces. Had @coolindarcy mill them in half. @doublea_1971 brought us over to @completemillworkservices in Carson City, it then got planed in the largest wood shop I’ve ever seen.. @sonofblackie made the legs routed the bow ties and sanded him hands off. Then we poured. Like a slice of salmon look at that texture. The traveling slab.

To everyone who came out for our first winter at Lost Trail, thank you ❤️

You dealt with weird snow, deep snow, not-enough snow, late nights, early starts, creek crossings, bootpacks, snowcat bumps, long dinners, and a lodge we’re still learning how to run the right way.

We learned a lot this winter.

That getting here is part of it. That conditions matter, but they don’t get the final say. That good food goes a long way after a long day. That the people in your crew can make a trip, even when the forecast doesn’t. That Coldstream Canyon still has a lot to show us.

Mostly, we learned that this place is worth the work.

Thanks to our guests, our team (@ianlack87 🤘), @pacific_crest_snowcats, and this beautiful canyon for helping us bring Lost Trail back to life this winter.

Now we’re getting ready for summer - Lost Trail reservations are officially open.

Bring your crew, we’ll handle the lodge and the meals.

Our annual @jonessnowboards Split Together brought our retailers, reps, office crew, and some absolute legends of the snow industry into the Truckee backcountry for a few unforgettable days.

Thunder storm creek crossings on the way in.
Tours to the crest during the day.
Stories around the fire at night.
Moonlit dance parties, incredible food, and Jim Zellers’ legendary “no-hangover” margaritas.

Grateful for the crew of people who make this trip happen and for the retailers who make what we do possible.

Moments like this are a reminder that this industry, and this community, is pretty magical place ✨

Huge thanks to

Thank you snowboarding. Thank you @jonessnowboards for bringing everyone together. Sometimes it’s the toughest conditions that keep the fire lit. #BankedtoBeacons

Shout out all the employees, shops, reps, designers that I get to ride with. Let’s do it again 🔂 🔥
