— “Do you want to come to our place?” That one question led to me spending the next few days at their home. One of them wanted a tattoo to remember the motorcycle accident that left him with a broken leg. I also tattooed some of the friends they introduced me to. People who were strangers only days ago became friends—and started to feel like family—through tattoos. Meeting new people is a beautiful thing. I’ll keep giving my best to what I can do right now and see where this journey takes me.

また会う日まで👋🏼 — A musician I met on the street. “Do you want a tattoo?” One question started a new story. He chose the kanji 歌, meaning “song.” I tattooed it on the right hand he uses to hold the microphone. While tattooing, we shared our dreams and goals. Our paths may be different, but we share the same determination to pursue our dreams. Until we meet again 👋🏼

A professional skateboarder I met on the street. One simple question became the beginning of a beautiful connection. We shared stories about our pasts, future dreams, and different experiences in life. After the tattoo, he took me to his favorite Japanese restaurant and introduced me to many of his friends. Once again, my perspective on life abroad became wider. One person at a time, these connections lead me to new people and places, and my world keeps getting bigger. I’ll keep cherishing every once-in-a-lifetime encounter and continue chasing my dream.

A single tattoo led me to another beautiful connection. He reached out to me on Instagram, and we got to meet in person. He is the owner of Nakama Tattoo Studio, a beautiful studio full of Japanese culture. He introduced me to his wonderful family and friends, treated me to amazing food, and even showed me a tattoo supply shop. Thanks to him, I had so many great experiences. After we said goodbye, he sent me a message. His words felt like he could see exactly what was in my heart. Living abroad can be difficult sometimes. I’ve had many worries, but I kept them to myself because I thought there was no point in talking to anyone about them. His message gave me a lot of peace. It reminded me that it’s okay to slow down sometimes, and it’s okay to ask someone for help. Because of that, I feel like I can keep pushing forward even stronger. Meeting people is truly

A tattoo opened another door in Mallorca. 🇪🇸 A tattoo artist invited me to her studio, where I met such kind and welcoming people. I asked a stranger one question: “Do you want a tattoo?” A few minutes later, Nicolas chose a design, and we created a new memory in one of his favorite places in 🌏 While I was tattooing him, he told me that one of his dreams is to skate in Japan someday. I came to MACBA alone and left with new friends. Skaters from all over the world gather here. We didn’t always speak the same language, but somehow, we understood each other. Sometimes, all it takes is the courage to say hello. Thank you for welcoming me 🙏🏼 One connection at a time, I’ll keep building my circle across Europe. Where should I go next? 🙌🏼 #Barcelona #MACBA #Skateboarding #TattooJourney #MakingConnections

DAY TWO — Making friends in Barcelona. 🇯🇵🇪🇸 I went to a park with one simple goal: to make new friends. We trained, laughed, talked about tattoos, and shared our stories.
