Our version of nightlife. 🌙🍇

Headlamps on, boots in the vineyard, and a crew bringing plenty of heart to the harvest. These are the moments behind the bottles—the real work, the teamwork, and the excitement of bringing in the fruit.

Gudgel Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon has come over time to utilize more fruit from Coombsville, with a particular preference for the Terra Solis Vineyard. Frank and Mark have struck up a friendship, and Frank’s sustainable practices, genial personality, exceptional grapes, and attention to detail make it an easy and exciting path forward. Yesterday Frank shared this image of harvest, indicating that the 2026 is off the vine and ready for crush. We know Jean will do amazing things with these beautiful grapes and we can’t wait to taste the wine! Cheers! 🍷

Our soils inform the wines we make.

And our land, so placid and bucolic today, took shape after a cataclysm—several of them, in fact.

Here is a one-minute introduction to Haynes Vineyard, the windy corner of Coombsville AVA that will always fascinate us.

The most powerful legacy stories aren’t simply told, they’re felt. Caldwell Vineyards in Napa Valley is one of those places.

Time spent at Caldwell in the Coombsville AVA means unforgettable stories, genuine connection, plenty of laughs, and the kind of inspiration that goes far beyond the views and pours. (Genuinely love everything they produce.)

It’s a reminder that your legacy is built in the moments you refuse to play small- - when you choose courage over comfort and go all in on the life you were meant to live.

If you’ve never experienced Coombsville, put @caldwellvineyard on your itinerary. Come for the wine, but don’t be surprised if you leave inspired to be brave to go for what it is you really want in this lifetime.

Napa still has secrets.⁣
⁣
Bydand’s philosophy is pretty simple: let the vineyard speak and make wines with balance, structure and a sense of place.⁣
⁣
These are the wineries I love finding. Less hype. More substance. Great people.⁣
⁣
Save this one for your next Napa trip. 🍷⁣

Heading to Napa? Try something new and horseback through the vineyards.

Great for a girls’ trip or a romantic getaway. The horses were lovely, the staff is charming and attentive. They provide the helmets and even boots, although of course I had my own @tecovas.

Such a special day that elevated my trip! Magical@memory✨🤠🐴🌹🍇Cant wait to share it with a romantic interest soon

Harvest at Nathan Coombs Estate typically stretches into late September and October, as cool fog drifting in from San Pablo Bay slows ripening and extends the growing season. This year, warmer weather brought harvest earlier across our estate vineyards, and our team has been hand-picking Cabernet Sauvignon here overnight to preserve the fruit’s freshness. Set at the base of the Vaca Mountains in rocky, volcanic soil, this site’s character comes through in every vintage, shaped by conditions that reward patience even when the calendar shifts.
