What a weekend. ❤️
.
This past weekend was truly one of the most beautiful experiences we’ve ever had as a community. We had the incredible privilege of walking alongside so many young adults in their journey of faith—building friendships, sharing tears, laughter, prayer, and moments of profound growth.
.
The entire retreat was filled with countless reminders of God’s faithful hand at work. We witnessed little miracles, unexpected graces, and the overwhelming love of the Father in ways that continue to leave us in awe.
.

To everyone who attended: thank you for saying “yes.” Thank you for trusting us, opening your hearts, and allowing God to move. It was an honor to walk with you.

Something I’ve been reflecting on lately…

If we truly believe the Eucharist is Jesus Christ — Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity… how should we approach Him? ✝️

At Fátima, the angel who appeared to the children taught them deep reverence before the Eucharist. It’s a powerful reminder that receiving Our Lord isn’t something ordinary — it’s a sacred encounter.

For centuries, many Catholics received kneeling and on the tongue as a sign of humility, reverence, and awe before the Real Presence. When you kneel, you’re proclaiming with your body: “My Lord and my God.”

This isn’t about judging anyone — it’s about rediscovering reverence in a world that often forgets the sacred.

As your Catholic barber, these are the kinds of conversations we have in the chair: faith, tradition, and how we can grow deeper in our love for Jesus in the Eucharist. 💈✝️

“No one should argue about the Eucharist…”

Because if you truly understand it — your response won’t be argument… it will be awe. ✝️

Catholics don’t believe the Eucharist is just a symbol.
We believe what Jesus said:

📖 “This IS my body… this IS my blood.” — Luke 22:19–20
📖 “My flesh is true food and my blood is true drink.” — John 6:55

For 2,000 years the Church has held this truth — and even science has investigated it.

Across history there have been documented Eucharistic miracles where the consecrated host visibly became human heart tissue and blood, studied by scientists with no explanation except the extraordinary.

Places like:
• Lanciano, Italy
• Buenos Aires, Argentina
• Sokolka, Poland

All pointing to the same mystery:
The Eucharist is not a symbol.
It’s Jesus truly present.

As your Catholic barber, these are the conversations we have in the chair. Real faith. Real questions. Real truth.

Because once you realize Christ is truly in the Eucharist, Mass stops being routine… and becomes an encounter with God Himself.

20 habits quietly hurting your walk with God… 👀✝️

Not the big obvious sins — the small daily patterns that slowly pull us away from Him.

As your Catholic barber, these are the real conversations happening in the chair. Let’s be honest with ourselves:

1️⃣ Rushing prayer instead of entering it.
Don’t just talk at God… talk with Him.

2️⃣ Only going to God when something’s wrong.
He’s not a backup plan — He’s the foundation.

3️⃣ Feeding your mind, not your spirit.
Hours scrolling… no time in the Word.

4️⃣ Delaying obedience.
Telling yourself “later” when God said now.

5️⃣ Confusing busyness with fruitfulness.
Doing a lot… without God.

6️⃣ Letting small compromises slide.
“It’s not that deep.” It actually is.

7️⃣ Avoiding silence.
Constant stimulation keeps you from listening.

8️⃣ Comparing your walk with others.
Faith isn’t a competition.

9️⃣ Waiting to feel faithful before acting faithful.
Discipline comes before desire.

🔟 Neglecting repentance because of grace.
Grace fuels change — it doesn’t excuse sin.

1️⃣1️⃣ Isolating when you need accountability.
Don’t run from correction.

1️⃣2️⃣ Treating Scripture as motivation, not correction.
The Word isn’t just suggestions.

1️⃣3️⃣ Romanticizing future obedience.
“I’ll get serious when I’m ready.”

1️⃣4️⃣ Making God part of your life — not the center.
Stop giving Him leftovers.

1️⃣5️⃣ Numbing stress instead of surrendering it.
Scrolling. Food. Distractions. Pray instead.

1️⃣6️⃣ Ignoring uncomfortable conviction.
Conviction is a gift.

1️⃣7️⃣ Skipping real community.
Your strength alone isn’t enough.

1️⃣8️⃣ Consuming things shaping your values.
Music. Shows. News. Formation happens fast.

1️⃣9️⃣ Thinking knowledge of God = relationship with Him.
You can know about Him and still be distant.

2️⃣0️⃣ Forgetting your “why.”
You drift when you forget who saved you.

God still loves you. Always.
But don’t take that love for granted.

This is why the chair exists — not just for fades, but for faith conversations that make better men. 💈✝️

Science can’t lie… and sometimes it quietly points back to God. ✝️

Think about this for a moment:

🦴 12 ribs in the human body…
👥 12 disciples Jesus chose to build His Church.

🦴 33 vertebrae in the human spine…
✝️ Jesus was 33 when He gave His life and rose again.

🦴 The lamina in our vertebrae forms a shape like a cross — the very symbol of our salvation.

⏳ The body begins powerful healing processes when fasting for about 3 days…
✝️ Jesus rose after 3 days.

🧠 And today even science confirms something believers have known for centuries — prayer improves brain health, reduces stress, and brings peace.

The Bible said it long ago:
📖 “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you?” — 1 Corinthians 6:19

Nothing about you is random.
You were designed with purpose.

As your Catholic barber, these are the kinds of conversations we have in the chair — faith, truth, and becoming the man God created you to be. 💈✝️

Sharper fade.

I’m so grateful I don’t just attend — I get to participate. From serving, to community, to being part of Corazón Puro Young Adults, and learning alongside Father Ian. That’s where faith becomes alive. That’s where brothers are built.

Church isn’t something you consume.
It’s something you contribute to.
