No better way to showcase the strong and supportive community Walk It Off has created over the years than a generous gift from one client to another. Read below to learn how this gift changed the lives of Mike and Michelle! .

“This journey since Mike's accident has been far from easy. . . It has been the hardest 3 1/2 years of my life. Through most of it I have done my best to stay positive, celebrate the small victories and be so grateful for everything I have. However, through so much of it I have cried, screamed, thrown things, stayed in bed and watched Friends for hours, lost my cool more than I want to admit, worry about having enough money so Mike can go to rehab, and so on and so on. . .
Today Mike and I were worry free. Today the sweetest woman alive gave us the biggest gift to add to all of the positives of this journey . . . she gifted Mike and I a wheel chair accessible van. A women I only met today for the first time when I picked the van up. A women Mike has known for a little while now at his rehab. A women who has given Mike and I back our FREEDOM!! See up to this point we have been so blessed to have had such strong family and friends help lift Mike in and out of the front seat of our truck and as grateful as we were, our lives were so limited and we had to rely on everyone else. But now with the generosity of this incredible woman, we have the freedom to come and go as we please. Date nights, roads trips, afternoon cruises, and ice cream runs are back!!! Today goes in my top 10 list of best days ever. Thank you Karen for changing our lives - thank you for giving us back our freedom!!!!”

#bluemonday wasn’t so blue for this guy. Yesterday’s rehab appointment for Mike was unreal again. This guy was pumping iron with no muscle stim and was killing it - apparently this workout brought out his inner #arnoldschwarzenegger as well.
