Training for a run? Don’t forget about strength and stability work alongside your running 🏃🏼‍♀️

I’ve been working with @core_project_pilates to build muscular endurance and support my running goals, with a big focus on the muscles that help keep me stable and controlled when I run.

Each session is one-on-one with Tace, using the reformer as the centre of a personalised workout tailored to my goals, strengths and weaknesses.

Some of the key things we’ve been working on:
• Single-leg balance and control
• Stability and stabiliser muscles
• Core strength and endurance

As a runner, it’s a great reminder that your training doesn’t have to stop when you step off the track. Building strength and control is an important part of supporting your running goals, too.

If you’re keen to give it a go, follow @core_project_pilates and DM Tace mentioning this post to receive $20 off your introductory session.

Day in the life of a Dietitian running my own business ✨🥞🐶🏃🏽‍♀️

Every day looks a little different, but it’s usually some combination of exercise, cooking, filming, creating meal plans, client consults and plenty of random admin!

Today I was lucky enough to squeeze in a Pilates session with Tace at @core_project_pilates 🤍

Just over here doing what I love.

It’s always a humbling experience training with @core_project_pilates
Tace was the first person to introduce me to Pilates and I still see her fortnightly in Elwood for a combination of weights, Pilates and core. There’s always a load of whinging and negotiation but we get there 😂. The last slide is the real reason I train with her though… obviously.

SIS x @core_project_pilates

It was such a pleasure capturing Pilates Instructor Tace in her element — and in her gorgeous private studio too 🪴

Tace came to me wanting to top up her content back. She prefers being hands-on with clients over being behind a camera — that’s where I come in 👋🏼

With a packed schedule, Tace was feeling time poor, so our 2 hour Signature Sister session was the perfect fit! In just one shoot, we created enough content to last her a month (or more)!

At Sister in Socials, we make content creation feel effortless, enjoyable & totally tailored to you! ✨

I’m already looking forward to our next shoot!

We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support of our wonderful community in 2024. Thanks to your generosity, our Art Show fundraiser raised significant funds to support our junior years’ phonics program, Read Write Inc. This program is being used daily in Prep to Year 3, giving our emerging readers the strong foundation they need to succeed!

Your support means the world to us, and we can’t thank you enough for helping us invest in our students’ learning journey.
