Women’s Health Week 🩷 7–13 September

This week, I want to acknowledge Women’s Health Week and something that has been at the heart of my nursing career for many years, supporting women and making sure they feel heard.

As a Registered Nurse, with a background in midwifery, I’ve had the privilege of caring for women through some of life’s biggest moments — pregnancy, birth, motherhood and all the seasons that follow.

One thing I’ve learnt along the way is that sometimes women don’t need to be told that what they’re experiencing is “normal”.

They need someone to listen.

To ask questions, feel comfortable speaking openly, and know their concerns are being taken seriously.

And women’s health isn’t just about how we look on the outside.

What’s happening on the inside matters just as much.

Our hormones, energy, menstrual health, nutrition, sleep and mental wellbeing all contribute to how we feel and function.

So this Women’s Health Week, I’m celebrating women who give so much to everyone else, and reminding you to make time for yourself too.

Your health matters.
Your questions matter.
You matter. 🩷

Here’s to women feeling heard, supported and empowered to care for themselves — inside and out.

Each time we won a trophy, it meant I was “doing the right thing”.

They still mean the world to me, but the real flex is seeing the people in my team smile and become the most skilled therapists they can be, with me as their mentor.

Doing the hard things to push them, but being ready to catch them if they fall. 🌍 I watch you guys in awe of who you’ve all become - particularly over the last few months. Thank you for trusting my leadership and for choosing Bobbie Charles.

The real flex is building deeper connections with our clients in the clinic and understanding their needs more to serve them better. Elevating the experience at every touch point. Thank you for choosing Bobbie Charles for all these years when there is such incredible competition out there. 🌶️

And last of my flexes are watching my consulting clients win and become the versions they were always destined to be, with the right tools. I’m still so grateful everyday that you choose me in a world full of incredible coaches out there.

You don’t realise but your feedback and smiles are my trophies now, and I get to win them everyday. I’m very grateful.

Thank you. 🙏

Wellness Advocate of the Year

Wellness at this level is built on trust.

People are placing their health, their habits and their day to day wellbeing in the hands of these businesses. That requires care, consistency and a standard that holds across every interaction.

The finalists in this category are operating with that responsibility. Creating environments, services and experiences that support real change in how people feel and function.

Congratulations to our finalists for Wellness Advocate of the Year ✨

• Avi Charlton – MLC Clinic
• Julie Tenner
• Kelly-Ann Faulkner – Drug and Alcohol Counselling
• Mariana – Core Essence Day Spa
• Sivanart Marich – Zen Wellness Centre
• Suzanne Butler – Harmonising Energies Feng Shui

This is work people rely on and return to.

Our Ladies Day was giving glam, grit and good vibes all round 💄🏏✨ What a day!
A HUGE thank you to the incredible businesses who helped us turn up the sparkle by generously donating prizes or just being apart of our day. Your support added that extra touch of excitement, fun and fabulousness to the day, and we are so grateful for each and every contribution.
From the sidelines to the celebrations, this day wouldn’t have been the same without our amazing community backing us. We are so lucky to be supported by businesses 💕
Here’s to strong women, great cricket, a little glam and the best supporters around 🥂✨ #LadiesDay #PinkStumps #CommunityStrong
