I don’t understand why everybody have to be so judgmental. I understand why mom’s judgmental. I think it’s ‘cause she cares, partially. Think it’s also partially ‘cause, everyone else is lookin’ at her like, ‘Hey, Cody’s just a bum.’ ‘Cody’s this,’ ‘Cody’s that,’ ‘Cody’s this.’ Cody’s me, bro. Let me be me. When is that going to start?

Speed endurance with the team. Faster together, stronger together, and learning to hold speed when it hurts.

@myolympiccoach & @runningwithlucho sonrieron. Yo también.

Hace 17 meses no podía caminar sin ayuda.
Hoy persigo un 3:30 en @nycmarathon
Esto no es velocidad. Es resurrección.

🩺 Conoce los signos del stroke: F.A.S.T.
Face · Arms · Speech · Time.

17 months post-stroke. Halfway through Stroke Awareness Month.

Today at Tropical Park, 14 × 200m. Avg pace 6:01/mi.
@myolympiccoach & @runningwithlucho smiled. So did I.

17 months ago, I couldn't walk unassisted.
Today I'm chasing a 3:30 in @nycmarathon
This isn't speed. It's resurrection.

FAST es el workout. F.A.S.T. es por lo que corro. 🎗️

FAST is the workout. F.A.S.T. is why I run. 🎗️ Today's session "FLASHY FOURS" — 8 × 400m + 10 strength drills.
🔥 The Garmin doesn't lie:
▸ Rep 1: 6:27/mi
▸ Rep 4: 5:39/mi
▸ Rep 8 (last): 5:25/mi ⚡
▸ Negative split, disciplined start to finish
▸ Total: 5.22 mi · Avg HR 151 · 81°F
But here's what made today different:
May is #StrokeAwarenessMonth

And every "fast" interval on that track has a second meaning. Before "FAST" was the name of my workout, F.A.S.T. was the acronym that could have saved my life.

▸ F — Face drooping
▸ A — Arm weakness
▸ S — Speech difficulty
▸ T — Time to call 911

😍 No one crosses the finish line alone.
Nadie cruza la meta solo.

That's not just a phrase — it's the entire mission of @achilles_international, and every Tuesday and Friday at Tropical Park, our crew lives it. 100+ athletes. One track. Zero excuses.
