Now live on Jerk Of All Trades (dot) ORG. I’ve been working on this one since Sunday night. After the Ramones 50th Anniversary tribute at Hollywood Forever, I ended up at @canters_deli with three cups of coffee in me, and didn’t go to sleep till 9 am. Today, I still haven’t showered. But it’s finally up, and now that it’s published, I’m going to wash up, put on Rock ‘N’ Roll High School, and finish my bagel. Gabba Gabba Hey. Link in bio.

Part of my Nervepitch sound? I think so. I used these on the Nervepitch recordings and live. Except this one time. I dropped my pick, I remember it was at a show in Toronto and was caught on camera in this photo (wearing my fav shirt) #nervepitch #dunloppicks #ibanezbass #daddariostrings #nervepitchbass

We’ve got a bold one pouring this week! Our server @corey_parks is holding a limited edition cask strength Canadian rye from Calgary, Alberta. Alberta Premium is made from 100% Canadian rye, aged over 5 years in new charred oak and ex-bourbon barrels, then bottled at a robust 132 proof.

Despite the strength, it’s exceptionally smooth, with caramel, vanilla, and a hint of chocolate balanced by rye spice and black currant.

One per guest, $5 per pour. Stop in and try this powerhouse before it’s gone!

Good seeing Corey Parks 😎
When I saw Corey play and she did the fire breathing antics, I'd make sure I knew where the exit was 🫠 but she was a pro so no problems 😎

Just restrung my old 86 Peavey Foundation with some @labellastrings flatwounds. This is one of the meanest sounding basses of the bunch. I think the @nashville_p_u_s_s_y sticker has something to do with it #peavey #doesitdoom #nashvillepussy #bassesofinstagram #peaveybass

June 23, 2001 — KROQ Weenie Roast 🇺🇸

On this day in 2001, Courtney Love and Corey Parks attended the KROQ Weenie Roast in Irvine, California.

At the time, Courtney was working on her post-Hole project Bastard — described as a “southern France AC/DC-type trash record.” The band had been recording for Epitaph Records while Hole remained on pause due to label disputes.

Corey briefly joined Bastard but left after about 17 days.

She later said:
“People like Courtney Love pat you on the back to find the soft spot before sticking the knife in. I went to do the Bastard project with her and it lasted about 17 days.”

🖤 A story Corey shared with me some time ago:

“Whoah… trippy. I went back to her place after the show… she gave me some silk PJs and a pair of underwear. I should have sold that on eBay!”

First Nashville Pussy photo session way back in 1996, photo by the amazing Mike Miller. I wore that Danzig shirt 24/7 back then. Thank you to Corey Parks for sending me this.
