“The Death of the White Knight” shares two overarching themes: one explores the nuances of having a savior complex and the other one is underlying. We all have old habits we are ashamed of. We all have a past we would like to forget, and you know what, it is ok to let the old habits die hard. Sometimes the one version of yourself that gave you comfort is the one version you have to leave behind. Some people may cling on to your old habits. Some may even refuse to acknowledge the growth, but you must give yourself as much grace as you can and be proud of how far you have come.

“The Death of the White Knight” is on my YT Channel: ‘Corey Dvisionary.’ Check it out to explore these themes further. #film #director #introspection #creator

Sometimes, the main antagonist of your story is the person you see in the mirror. The conflict is rather internal than external. We can be our own worst critics and our own worst enemies. Nevertheless, give yourself some grace.

I think I have reached a certain point where I actually do enjoy making these “video journals”. These are two videos I made last year: the top one being “The Harsh Realities of Post College Depression” and the bottom one being “The Death of the White Knight.” They both detail candid subject matters pertaining to my experiences in life, both past and present. One thing I am trying to learn as a man and maybe teach other people is that it is ok to be vulnerable. It is ok to peel your layers back and accept yourself as human. I think I might make more of these video journals at some point.

I am also a sucker for surrealism, inspired by Donald Glover and the late David Lynch. I think I am in an experimental phase of my film journey. Which surrealistic moment do you like bettter?

The top video or the bottom one? 🎬 #film #videojournal #director #experimental #actor

Love arrives in many forms—through people, through art.
2025 taught me to hold close what grounds me: family, friends, and the quiet power of creation.
Make art. Help it be born in others. Stand still and watch it take shape around you.
Keep creating, or simply sit with the beauty of it—
especially with the ones you love.
