If anyone would have told me 5 years ago i would be holiday-ing at the English seaside i would have smiled politely as i planned a trip more "exotic"

Thanks to an old friend living in #margate and a very kind invitation to stay i had the pleasure to have a wonderful trip into nostalgia and spend valuable quality time with my baby.

Brother in the Wild, Dorset via Margate. What a hilarious, stunning, restorative, and ridiculous weekend. As someone who usually hates camping and who cycles on an electric one-speed, I had the time of my life. Miss you reprobates. How lush to be able to pick up exactly where you left off after not seeing peeps for well over a year ❤️

Congrats @brothercycles, @bro.therwill and James on building such a welcoming, funny, and laid-back community. Quote of the weekend by @bro.therwill: “In 10 years, you’re the first person to arrive back to camp with their bike in the back of a car.” 💪

Some things of late I have been up to. Still here, keeping on and trying to survive. Some thriving is happening, but also some just about coping. It’s hard innit?
Just done a SHIT load of work for people I can’t share yet too, but i’ll share eventually which has been hard and lots of long hours but i’m really pleased with it. And more to come! Thank god. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster ride so far 2026. 🖤

Without a doubt, one of the best weekends of the year.

Brother in the Wild 26 did not disappoint on its 10 year anniversary.

I really appreciate getting to play a small part in helping make it happen and even more lucky to get to enjoy it with so many incredible people - this year more than ever!

Truly life affirming and my number one request for how I'd like to spend the afterlife 🧡

Thanks Will & James and all the @brothercycles team and extended family.

In the words of George Michael and Aretha, I found my way out of the darkness, kept my faith (i know you did) kept my faith… January you were so very very long and hard. And fucking COLD 🥶
I turned 46. I think. I keep forgetting.
I managed to put a show on at @cliffsmargate for the amazing second edition of @offseasonmargate whilst revising for my theory exams for my @pilatesfoundation Teacher training with my fantastic women from @proudfootpilates and @margatepilatesstudio (on the same weekend, never again) I sat, I planned, went to the theatre with Mum and @rachelstrikke for a lovely trip, and kept @dame_judy_and_dusty in meaty treats for another month. Onwards into February. Lighter days, in both spirit and sunlight I hope. Joy is a resistance.

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!!

Catching up with old friends in London and slotting straight back in to the laughs like we were all 18 again.

My cup is full to the brim! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Another revolution around, a year older.
I could do none of it without my mum, sister @rachelstrikke and family; my friends and chosen family, and all the people I pass along the way. You’re all a part of the big ole’ Strickson engine and it’s whirring cogs that mesh together to make my wonderful little life what it is.
And when it’s hard it’s hard; but it’s surrounded by a cushion of love and care and compassion from everyone, making sure I don’t fall. I can’t ever thank you all enough for inhabiting this mad timeline with me ✨
Also for agreeing to go on a walk in subzero wind. Phewie it was a spicy one today 💨
I have undoubtedly not tagged correctly but pfftttttttt allow it
Also shout out to the mini adults today for being a joy when the adults were being boring - Blake, Nova, Harry, Enid, Ivy and Alice 💞

Blimey, the state of the world aside, 2025 was an absolute corker. Did lots of dog walking and wine drinking and generally dicking about with my favourite people. And got to do it in Italy, Barbados and Thanet (don’t worry, I also did lots of shouting at racists). Almost bankrupted by vet bills and home renovations but as the kids say (they probably don’t any more) WE MOVE. Grateful for all the excellent humans I’m surrounded by, old and new. More of this sort of thing in 2026 please.

Posting some pics from last November and December because I am ON FIRE with my socials 💪🔥In Nov, I went back to Margate for a “Thank fuckeries I’m alive” party. It was beautiful, messy and cathartic. Then in December, I returned again with the fam for Christmas, introducing Billy to a place where I always feel at home (home being a complicated concept for me). Sorry I didn’t get pics of everyone there - or at least pics I can actually post 😬 Thank you all for being such a wonderful part of what makes that place so special. Which, considering we’re all massive twats, is really solid going. Love ya all an awkward amount ❤️
