POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thank you to everyone who reached out with birthday wishes through social media, texts, calls, and all the ways you made me feel loved and celebrated!

I had a pretty fantastic birthday with friends in Hocking Hills. Never would I have guessed I’d spend my birthday in Ohio, but there I was — hiking, swimming in a swimming hole, visiting a winery, eating fantastic food made with love by my friends, and ending the day around a fire.

I didn’t keep an official count, but I’m pretty sure those crazy peeps sang “Happy Birthday” to me at least 10 times over the course of the day. Apparently once was not enough.

Feeling very lucky for the people who made the day special and for everyone who took a moment to reach out. Here’s hoping the year ahead brings plenty more adventures, laughter, good food, unexpected places, and time spent with friends and family. ❤️

HAPPY “LANSING HIP HOP DAY!”

Today was so special!

One, because we concluded our middle school summer camp with family, friends, and teaching artists!

AND…
Two, because in 2023, @cityoflansingmi declared June 26th as “Lansing Hip Hop Day!” It was awesome to celebrate with representatives from the city (thank you so much for being there Deputy Mayor Mumby and Luciana!), repping our collab t-shirts/ camp shirts with @capitalcitymkt & @courtyardlansingdowntown , and cheering on these amazing world changing artist campers!

Thank you for following along with us this AOTA HIP HOP WEEK! If you’d like to celebrate Lansing Hip Hop Day with us, please consider supporting our free programming at the link in our bio or by sharing this post with a friend! Grateful and honored to #build517 together!
