#installshots of #angellesnikowski @angel.lesnikowski standing next to her work entitled “Death,” 2026 which is on view in her ‘Mourning the Apocalypse’ exhibition at @breagallery in #brea #califórnia through September 5, 2026. Via @thinkspace_art . Angel’s work explores mortality, war, women’s rights, and the emotional impact of political conflict, grounded in a feminist perspective and often centered on women whose stories have been erased from history — particularly Assyrian women. Death is the name of pale 4th and final horse (and rider) in Revelation 6:1–8 (four riders on horseback are summoned one by one as symbolic harbingers of global cataclysm). In this painting, Angel depicts a young girl standing before the pale horse holding a cross, searching for comfort in her faith. She is part of a sinful world and mourns the fact that faith alone can not save her from what is to come. Angel a member of the CSU Summer Arts Community Board, at the @fresnoartmuseum and has shown at @corridor2122 @cloviscollege @artsvisalia
