May 15, 2024 was one of the best days of my life. I had thought that after nine years together, marriage wouldn’t feel any different, but it truly does. Vowing to love you forever before God and our family was an incredibly powerful experience. Witnessing our worlds collide in such a magical way and embracing the joy it brought was unforgettable. Although the weather was colder than expected, the mist made the ceremony feel like a sacred dream. It also tied perfectly with our first dance song, ‘Come in from the Cold’ 😉

Thank you, @ojailabyrinth , for providing us with such a gorgeous landscape. It was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, and your kindness throughout the planning process gave us great comfort. Thank you, @idoidoido ,for your boundless generosity! My heart is full for the way you went above and beyond to capture our family. And thank you, @fleurderye , for your adaptability and design. Your flower arrangements were the perfect final touches! Thank you @cream.and.ivory for your loving support. My 1970’s dress had good juju from the moment I saw it and I’m so glad I visited your shop the day it opened! I will never forget how sweet you were to me the day my father passed and I wish you nothing but blessings on blessings!

Dr Sara J Corse taught the course, 'Family and Community' at the Naropa Fellowship from 17th-21st December. The course looked at adult development along with theories on family structure, dynamics and development. Dr Corse laid emphasis on self-reflection and asked our Fellows to look at their families and communities in the context of entrepreneurship. Justin Smith (Content Creator, Gilligan Phantom Youtube Channel) assisted our Fellows with their video-making projects, which they found to be one of the most interesting segments of this course. The course brought the Fellowship closer through shared personal journeys and experiences of dealing with mental health issues.

Dr Sara J Corse is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the Department of Counseling and Behavioral Health. She is a licensed clinical psychologist practicing at the Council for Relationships and the Director of the Community Partnerships Initiative. Her specialty areas in teaching and therapy include grief and loss, trauma, couple and family relationships, parenting, anxiety and depression and group and community-based intervention. She is the author of 'Cradled All the While: The Unexpected Gifts of a Mother’s Death'.
