🚨 YOUNG BASEBALL PLAYERS — STOP CHASING EXIT VELOCITY. START CHASING THE ABILITY TO HIT! ⚾️

There is a growing problem in baseball development where 14, 15, 16, and 17-year-olds are obsessed with hitting 100+ MPH on HitTrax and TrackMan.

Here’s the reality: Your max-effort HitTrax swing isn’t necessarily going to work against 95+ MPH with a scouting report. Take that swing and go face Jacob Misiorowski. See what happens.

I’m telling you this as somebody who has spent years playing professionally & coaching baseball.

STOP CHASING PEAKS. BUILD THE FOUNDATION THAT ALLOWS THOSE PEAKS TO HAPPEN NATURALLY.

⚾️ Proper mechanics and efficient swings
⚾️ Short, explosive, adjustable movements
⚾️ Consistent barrels through the middle with backspin
⚾️ Structured strength and conditioning
⚾️ Proper nutrition and recovery
⚾️ Consistent training with a knowledgeable coach

Your bat speed, exit velocities, and physical abilities should develop organically through proper training and TIME.

NOT EVERYBODY IS GOING TO HIT 100+ MPH. AND THAT’S OKAY!

Look at the Brewers, Guardians, and Rays. Not everyone in those lineups produces elite exit velocities, but they have players who know how to PLAY BASEBALL and help their teams win.

Don’t get lost in the sauce following people selling numbers instead of developing complete hitters.

The goal isn’t to win the HitTrax leaderboard. THE GOAL IS TO WIN BASEBALL GAMES.

Train properly. Get stronger. Eat correctly. Learn how to HIT. Give yourself TIME.

BECOME A BASEBALL PLAYER. NOT A CAGE ALL-STAR.

What do ya do when you forget your 30 inch bat for lesson? You pick up a 32 inch BBCOR and get stronger on the night! Well done kid.

“I can’t hit slow pitching” 😡😡😡

Worst thing I could ever hear from a hitter! Who’s with me!?

Bro, slow the tempo and turn that shit into slow pitch softball!

@abreg_1 never changed his swing, he just said “wait, wait, wait longer, load, explode” and probably was thinking….. “I take this game too serious for this $h!t” 😳😂

@coryaldridge 👀 led one of the most intense stations we’ve put together. The videos doesn’t do it justice… athletes had to problem solve, communicate, carry haybales above head, army crawl through Cory’s swamp… all while competing to be the first team to win their station.

Wait till next event ………….. 👀 🔥 #stressinitative #mentaltoughness #builtforpressure #heartsandminds

What a week. 🔥

Stress Initiative pushed athletes out of their comfort zones, challenged how they communicate, think, lead, and respond under pressure — and they absolutely embraced it. 💪🧠

We loved watching these athletes compete, struggle, adapt, laugh, and grow together.

Pressure reveals. Pressure teaches. Pressure builds. ⚒️🔥
