It starts with a search for something that didn’t exist. @cosettematernity Founder Emily spent her own pregnancy looking for dresses that felt like her, not just her bump, and came up empty. Drawing on her background in NYC fashion and couture craftsmanship, she designed her own line instead: pieces built to fit through the first trimester, hold up through nursing, and stay in your closet well past postpartum. Every dress is designed and made in New York City from a Lenzing™ Modal and spandex blend, with hidden nursing access sewn in from the start. Beautiful, functional, made to last... this is the founding story behind Cosette Maternity.

We are so excited to share our newest small business spotlight: Cosette Maternity!

As moms who have had multiple pregnancies, we know all too well how challenging it is to find clothing that is both comfortable and fashionable during pregnancy and postpartum. But lucky for us, local mom Emily Cope applied her background in the fashion industry to solve that problem!

🤰Cosette Maternity is designed for maternity and nursing with discreet nursing-friendly snaps.

💃It’s an investment piece that can be worn long after baby comes. It’s a timeless staple that doesn’t scream maternity and is worn well after pregnancy and nursing.

👗They are designed and made locally in NYC. They are made with sustainable lenzing certified modal-soft and comfortable on a growing belly and for nursing. Machine washable so practical too!

You can find their dresses on their website at https://cosettematernity.com or in-person at the 9in|9out Parent & Baby Expo on November 8th at the Westchester Marriott.
