A tribute to a dear friend we lost recently. Julian commissioned me to to draw “Amor Fati” - 𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘢𝘵𝘦 last year after his diagnosis with MND. After coming across the phrase on the day of his diagnosis Julian decided that loving your fate is much more positive than fighting or resenting it, an insight I think we could all learn a lot from. With this Julian decided to make some merch for all his nearest and dearest. The man he was - a doer. Although sorrowful to see him gone, I find peace in knowing he’s catching up with Dad up there over a special bottle of red no doubt. Grá mór Julian, thank you for your kindness. 🤍 @costadeloro

$@nicolemckenna_designer has just made me the most fabulous new website . Link in bio ( I've always wanted to say that ) You can see what I do , what I'm up to ( not a great deal currently as I'm moving house ) A few of you have asked about my Handprinted cards which are available singly now in @howbertandmays @thecompanyofbooks @thevillagebookshopterenure @thegreenlanegallery @coyles_of_connemara and @booksatone_letterfrack . You can now order them in packs from my site (click on shop ) It took me years of procrastinating to get a decent site so if you're hesitating about doing one for yourself , Nicole is your woman . You can work with her to get exactly the sort of site you want, she takes all the pain out of it and is delightful to work with . Big thank you @costadeloro for encouraging this collaboration$
