Salt Lake City, Utah trip with my three Great Danes — Part 4: One last adventure 🏔️🐾

Our last day of exploring before heading home! We checked out Rock Canyon in Provo, went off-roading for a bit, and finished the day with coffee from a local shop.

We are officially EXHAUSTED 😂 but my goodness, what a trip! Despite the unpredictable weather, rainy hikes, and muddy adventures, we made so many amazing memories together. And the pups? They had an absolute BLAST!

Utah, you were beautiful in your own rainy, moody, fall kind of way. 🍂🌧️ Already so grateful for this little adventure and all the memories we’re bringing home with us. 🤍

Salt Lake City, Utah trip with my three Great Danes — Part 3: Timpanogos Falls 🍂🌧️🐾

Another full day of rain, but the scenery made every cold, soaking-wet minute worth it. The overcast skies, fog rolling through the mountains, vibrant fall colors, and the most incredible waterfalls along the trail had me in absolute AWE. Definitely a hoa, hoa, hoa kinda day 🌫️

Watching the pups enjoy every minute while taking in all this beauty made for some pretty unforgettable memories. There’s just something about a rainy fall day in the mountains that feels a little magical. Fall is my absolute favorite season 🍁

Stay turned for part 4 - off to see some more fall colors and a canyon next 👀

Salt Lake City, Utah trip with my three Great Danes — Part 2: Bonneville Salt Flats 🌧️🐾

The Bonneville Salt Flats looked a little different than we imagined! Between the pouring rain, foggy views, and flooded, muddy flats, we definitely didn’t get the experience we were hoping for, but it was still super cool!

But even when things don’t go as planned, there are still memories to be made! The dogs had an absolute BLAST, and watching them run around in their little raincoats and booties was easily one of my favorite parts. It might not have been the picture-perfect Salt Flats experience I had envisioned, but it was still an adventure worth having. Maybe we’ll have to make another trip back when the weather is a little more cooperative! 🌫️🤍

Stay turned for part 3 - off to see some fall colors and a waterfall next 👀

Salt Lake City, Utah with my three Great Danes | Part 1: Travel Day 🚗🐾

10 hours on the road, plenty of fuel stops (gas guzzler problems 😂), a little park stop to stretch our legs, and a lunch break paired with a hike at the coolest trail a little over halfway there!

The pups had an absolute blast and were SO excited to be on the road and exploring somewhere new. Our Utah adventure is officially underway, and we’re just getting started!

Part 2 coming soon — next stop: the Bonneville Salt Flats!

My dad & his wife visiting, part two of two! 🤎🐾

We went leaf peeping, did some off-roading, and had the best picnic lunch with the dogs! Jessica and Shad were so nice to let my dad drive their 4Runner, which made the day even more fun. Jessica and I had a blast riding together and singing the whole way 😂

The last day, we also made a stop at Red Rocks, watched Kyle coach hockey, and spent the evening relaxing before they headed home the next morning.

Such a fun visit filled with so many good memories. So glad we got to spend the time together!

Colorado leaf peeping with my four big dogs & friends 🍂

It was such a fun day in the mountains, looking at all the leaves changing! We got some hiking in, off-roading, and found a good spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Exploring new places, soaking up the fall colors, and having four very happy pups along for the ride…🤎🍁 Days like this make me extra grateful to call Colorado home!

Well, we did it 🏕️

A little last minute adventure, a little out of my comfort zone, and a whole lot of memories made with these pups.

Our first camping trip was only one night, but I think that was the perfect way to start. We learned a lot, laughed a lot, and managed to get all three of these giants settled into camp! I’m so proud of them. They had a blast and were soooo good!

Sully stayed home for this one and apparently spent most of the weekend sleeping, so I think he was pretty happy with that arrangement. 😂

It definitely wasn’t perfect or fancy, but it was pretty darn special. I’m already looking forward to the next one! I think this might be the beginning of a new adventure for us. 🤎

Do you need a lover dog…. Harlee is your gal. She will love so hard. Although she hasn’t always learned that not every dog wants to be her friend. She wants to be friends with every dog. She loves male dogs and will quickly submit to them. Thank goodness she is not a human, or we would have a real problem on our hands.

Is your dog a lover, neutral, or a fighter.
