Finally finished Jack’s Bash in a thrift store frame, Jack’s Bash by @plumstreetsamplers on 40 count @countonlinens linen using combination of called for and stash additions. Now sitting next to last year’s Salem Sampler. Just ordered the Williamsburg sampler.

I just love this "free" chart called the Rose Sampler. I'm stitching on 40 count Solitude Serenity by Count on Linens with Roxy Floss Demerara.

I was so surprised to see how perfectly it matches the beautiful Bible my daughter gifted me for my birthday.

My patriotic project bag is is complete! Perfect for my counted canvas project. This is an oversized bag. Thanks for pulling the perfect fabric for this project! @countonlinens I did add the header fabric from my stash. I followed @redvelvet_quilts project bag tutorial YouTube video. Great video!

Wow, this has been a very hard post to make. But basically, I finished the birth sampler for our 3rd granddaughter (Freya)! I took my finish to Rensel’s Studio in Ogden and they mailed this gorgeously framed and hand painted finish all the way to Japan where my daughter and son in law can enjoy daily.

Baby Freya’s delivery was horrible and she sustained traumatic brain damage that she was unable to recover from. My daughter and her family went through (and still) an enormous amount of grief, stress and depression while trying to give Freya the most love and support.

I struggled trying to find a Birth Sampler to best visually represent Freya and reached out to my friend Jacob of Modern Folk Embroidery. Jacob designed Freya’s Birth Sampler for us ❤️🥰❤️🥰. My friend Jill of Count On Linens jumped on board to pair up the design with a delightful color of linen ❤️🥰❤️🥰. Everyone collectively showed their support and it has been felt across the globe to Japan where my Daughter and her family received it and loved it so much! Kenzie said “It’s perfect and and so fitting for Freya and our love for her ❤️🥹❤️🥰❤️🥹❤️”

Got another finish for 2025!! The white flowers on the top are ghosting a lot but it’s stitched. The additional colors are just floss pulled from stash.

Final #StitchNorth2025 start is just a small start bc Sunday was full of saying allll the good-byes 😭 This chart & linen was gifted by the incredibly generous Jerica @daybreak_stitcher who got it as table gifts for her table & ours!! (Next door table besties haha) We picked out a full Roxy Floss conversion & it’s looking so good!! A few false starts to find the right white for the letters - this one is actually a very pale purple but looks white on the fabric (thank you Kerri @roxy.flossco for your colour wizardry knowledge when I was spiraling lol)
