Fantastic symposium for @mintauxiliary this morning with the exceptional designer-writer David Netto @davidnettosays who gave a remarkable and most interesting lecture on both his career endeavors. The Mint Museum Auxiliary did an exemplary job of hosting the event at the stunning @charlottecountryclub
A huge thank you for the invitation to Ali @coutureknot !!!

As girly as I am, it may surprise you to know that sophisticated guy spaces are among my favs to design. Maybe it’s the fact that it’s a departure from my norm or the fact that I have a thing for sophisticated guys 😉🤷🏾‍♀️. Either way, I love the buttoned up details in a space expressly made for him. 👌🏾 #dbcinteriors #justforhim #mancave #guysden #menscloset

THROWBACK THURSDAY: Throwing it back to our very first #designershowhouse. Boy was I wet behind the ears. 🙈 Learned so much and had a blast doing so. (The #upholsteredwalls in the closet are still my favs to this day!) Couldn’t have done it with an amazing team of pros who did NOT come to play. 📷: @smithcwhardy #dbcinteriors #jpshowhouseproject #mensfashion #menscloset #mensdressingroom #dressingroom #closetinspo

Our first issue of 2021 arrives this week, featuring this beautiful skyline reflection from @mylesperhour_photography

In this issue, we spent a lot of time reflecting, too, on what matters most moving forward into this year. Traditionally, our first issue of the year is focused on wellness, and for 2021, that takes on a whole new meaning.

Pick up a copy today, and help us celebrate the local fabric of Charlotte, from artists like @nicholasmstewartfineart to family entrepreneurs like the sisters behind @birchfinetea. Plus, we provide a list of local gyms and fitness professionals, how to support them, and ways to enjoy their in-person and streaming services. You’ll also find out where to eat the best tasting, healthy food in the QC, and much, much more.

Goodbye 2020! This image brings forth many emotions. Almost a year of planning for @idscltshowhouse It had to close after the opening weekend, which was heartbreaking. However, it was a joy to work with so many talented people, who put their heart and soul into the project. Proceeds went to charity @motorracingoutreach This was my room in the Modern Resort home built by @southern_cottage May 2021 bring forth beauty, color, respite and healing! #jenniferbrowninteriors #idscharlotte #idscharlotteshowhouse #interiordesign #charlotteinteriordesigner #design #homedesigndecor #homedesigndecormagazine 📸 @_dpphoto_

Wow, what a year! We showed up, faced many unexpected challenges, threw all our plans out the window, put our big girl pants on, chins up, and made it happen. To say I’m proud of our tribe, would be an understatement.

2021 is already looking to be a golden year…our lovely Samantha is marrying her prince and we are blessed with an abundance of opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of many families that have been placed in our hands with purpose.

Until then, our team is taking time off to disconnect, reflect, and refresh….so we can come back strong and ready to create more beautiful spaces.

👋🏻 2020, ✌🏻 and 🤍

.
They are our go to for when we need a unique custom rug in our life! Shop local and visit the space in South End for some awe inspiring designs.
