Go see the print of this at @thevoyeurbordello tonight or tomorrow! I’ve been bad at promoting but it’s definitely a show worth supporting! More info 👇

“Human Connection to Nature Show” opening this Friday 6pm-10pm and Saturday 6pm-9pm.

This show will stir up awe and wonder and remind you why the natural world around us is so important to protect and and connect with.

This art show is in partnership with @protect_the_porkies , a collective of concerned citizens from around the Upper Peninsula, the great state of Michigan, and beyond, who are uniting to resist the development of Copperwood, an inexperienced Canadian company’s proposal to mine next to and underneath Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park and store 40+ million tons of waste in unprecedented proximity to Lake Superior, all for the sake of a few boom-and-bust jobs and copper to be shipped out of country.
10% of all work sold goes to @protect_the_porkies ! Flyer artwork by @cowboyflutebob

I’m so excited to share that my goldfinch, rock pigeon, and sparrow paintings will be part of the upcoming group show “The Human Connection to Nature” @thevoyeurbordello. I’ve been waiting for this show thanks to a heads-up from @nomadic_madam 🎨🐦

When we think of “nature,” it’s usually something big and untouched.

But most of the time, it looks more like a goldfinch at the feeder, a pigeon on the sidewalk,
or sparrows singing in bushes.

The birds we see every day.

They’re easy to overlook, but they’re a constant reminder that nature is all connected. If we don’t protect our grandest wild spaces, we risk losing the delicate balance of the ecosystems in our own backyards.

This show is in partnership with @protect_the_porkies , supporting efforts to protect the Porcupine Mountains and Lake Superior from the proposed Copperwood mine. 10% of any sales from the show will go toward their work.

I’ll also be contributing an additional 10% of any sales from my paintings to support Protect The Porkies.

If you’re local, I’d love for you to see the show. 🌲🐦

⏰ This Friday, April 17rd | 6-10 PM & Saturday, April 18th 6-9pm
📍 5629 Michigan Ave.
🎁 Suggested donation $5

Unc Dunk • Day 208 • Hard Now… Or Hard Later! #coldplunge #icebath #motivation

Dope 432 Hertz Flute Solo - @cowboyflutebob

I’m on Day 208 of cold plunging every single day.

This channel is about real discipline, real self-improvement, and doing hard things on purpose.
Every day I get into an ice bath to build mental toughness, reduce stress, and improve my overall health.

Cold plunging isn’t a trend to me.
It’s a daily habit that’s helped me build grit, stay consistent, and prove to myself that I can do hard things even when I don’t feel like it.

If you’re trying to improve your mental health, build discipline, lose comfort-zone habits, or become a stronger version of yourself — you’re in the right place.

Cold exposure isn’t easy.
That’s the point.

Let’s show up for the hard stuff.
That’s where real growth happens.

Let’s make today a great day.
I’ll see you tomorrow.
