Tiny Native Brook Trout in a clear cold New Hampshire stream. It's a pretty remarkable fish to survive in small looks that rage in the Spring time and slow to a trickle in late summer.
They are even more beautiful in real life.

It's All Connected.

We live in this system, we are all part of it. The more we get wet, dirty and sweaty the more we will appreciate what we have. All these little crabs, weeds, birds and fish add up to make a remarkable place.

Everytime I fish for Brook Trout in small streams high in the mountains I'm amazed at how rugged these tiny creatures are. They survive and thrive through incredible spring floods and dangerously low waters in the heat of summer. They have bright dots of color that have no reason to be there other than to make them beautiful and unique.
