🎃 WE DESIGN THE PUMPKIN IS BACK 🎃 and we're teaming up with @cppenvcouncil again this year! Calling all ENV majors, minors, faculty, and staff! Which department will have the most entries this year? Think beyond pumpkin carving. Create a pumpkin-inspired design using any material you choose: clay, cardboard, wood, yarn, papier-mâché, laser-cut model pieces, recycled materials, or anything else you can imagine. The only rules: The pumpkin must be the central design element. Your design must include a light source. 🚫 No open flames! Battery-powered candles will be provided for all entries (or bring your own lighting solution). 🏆 Bronco Bucks Prizes 🥇 $100 🥈 $75 🥉 $50 📦 Drop-Off: October 27 at 12 p.m. through October 29 at 12 p.m. in the Building 7 Gallery (aka fishbowl) Voting will happen on Instagram stories from October 29 at 3 p.m. to October 30 at 3 p.m. MAKE SURE TO COME BACK TO VOTE. Winners will be announced here at 4 p.m. on October 30. Please pick up your submissions any time after 1 p.m. on October 29. (Disclaimer: If you use a real pumpkin and don't pick it up by October 30 at 4 p.m. it might get thrown away.) Tag your classmates and start building. 👀🎃 #cppenv #WeDesignThePumpkin #wedesignthefuture #CalPolyPomona #BroncoCreativity #cpp

It was such a joy working with the incredible students and lovely faculty at @cppla (and @cppenv) to edit, tend, and tweak the foraging gaggle at the @lylecenter. Such a delightful time of full-scale experimentation and exploration. Can’t wait to watch this garden evolve! And thank you Rennie Tang, Nina Briggs, and Lorena Garcia for making this happen, and for being such generous hosts! Let’s do this again SOON @wagonlandscaping and @terremoto_landscape!
