MAXX.inBloom: THE ACTOR

Sooo… y’all thought I was done blooming?! 😂🌱

Absolutely not.

Because this lotus has PETALS.
And this one?
This one knows how to BECOME A CHARACTER. 👀🎭

From Bikini Bottom to Cleveland stages, from historical figures to fictional women, from comedy to drama to musical theatre… I’ve had the absolute JOY of stepping into some pretty amazing shoes.

And every character taught me something different.

It’s finding the heartbeat underneath the words.
It’s taking someone who only exists on a page and saying…

“Okay. I’ll give you a life.”

And BABYYYYY… I LOVE doing that. ✨

So here’s to every director who trusted me, every castmate who shared the stage with me, every production that stretched me, challenged me, humbled me, and reminded me why I fell in love with this crazy thing called theatre.

PETAL 04: THE ACTOR. 🌸

The storyteller.
The shapeshifter.
The character builder.
The “give me the script and let me figure it out” person 😂

Meet our 2026 Cleveland Arts Prize Winners!

We are honored to introduce this year’s Barbara S. Robinson Prize for the Advancement of the Arts winner, The Connor Foundation!

The @connorfoundation supports organizations primarily in Northeast Ohio that align with four core pillars: Health & Wellness, Education, The Arts, and The Preservation of Nature. Their support of the arts by making the arts more accessible to the general public is apparent through their support of Playhouse Square, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, moCa Cleveland, and The Cleveland Orchestra, just to name a few.

The 66th Annual Cleveland Arts Prize Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at the The Cleveland Museum of Art.

Theatre for Public Good started in March 2024, when 5 values-aligned, multi-racial theatres (Cleveland Public, Company One, Crowded Fire, Mosaic, and Perseverance) formed a cohort around a shared question: as social justice theatres, what can we do together that we cannot do alone? ⁠
⁠
After two years of convening and a framework presented at the TCG National Conference in June 2026, 11 theatres met in Boston this September to begin launching a national movement.⁠
