This weekend, I’m inviting local Colorado friends to hit a nearby trail and learn to attach a patch with a first hand stitch with me! ☀️ Yes a new era is beginning… One of mustering up our creativity and gathering in community… Go to my Link in bio to RSVP! Kellie and Ashley are both over the moon excited to be back teaching again at @craftcationconference 2027! What is Craftcation? A magical week spent crafting, learning, and connecting in Ventura Beach. If you are Craftcation-curious, drop me a line. I would be more than happy to share my experience with you.

My entire creative philosophy can pretty much be summed up as WHY CAN’T THIS BE MORE FUN???

So naturally, when I looked at a boring plastic pill organizer, I saw an opportunity for absolute maximalist nonsense!!!!

I’m teaching this project at @craftcationconference in April, and I cannot WAIT to see what everyone creates!

Want to make your own at home? Comment PILL and I’ll send you my shopping list!

I am so excited!!! Teaching at Craftcation 2027!!! Last year was so much fun. I met so many amazing creatives, tried new crafts (broom making and mosaic trivet, ring making, geli printing and needle felting) to name only a few. I’ll post some photos and links when I get a chance. Please feel free to DM me with questions about how to join in the fun this year 2027 #craftcation in Ventura, CA. @craftcationconference for all things Craftcation.

Nothing is wrong with living life of many colors!

I'm a mom of teens who also have creative passions

A wife of a imaginative soul and high school sweetheart

A dreamer of "oh I can do that"

A painter of many things, just not touch ups on my walls.

An artist, because I want to make it with my own hands.

A studio owner & teacher because I love sharing with others how to do the same and make happy art!

An auntie!

A game enthusiast (more card and board games please, maybe eventually mahjong!)

A art workshop hostess

A lover of all things neon and sparkly

An adhd creative (neurodivergent... whatever it is called... maybe call it a collector of art supplies and talents)

A singer (who has yet to sing beyond mass)

A sporadic dancer (when the tunes hit the grooves kick!)

A fan of minature golf (though now curious about real golf... is it as fun?)

My heart will always be at the ocean

Entering my granny craft era

Fan of many tunes

Lover of books and audible (so I can still make art in the process!)

Always a friend of dogs!

Probably a lot more...

but no wonder naps are sometimes necessary 🤪

Thank you @wisdommindbody for tagging me in this fun reflection!

This sound is pretty much the perfect description of Craftcation for us. We look forward to going, but even more than that, we look forward to seeing the people we’ve met there who have somehow gone from “people we met at a conference” to “people we absolutely plan to keep in our lives.” ❤️

The place is pretty great. The people are better. And Nora and I being together is usually just… a whole separate situation. 😂
