➕Curly highlights have one very important job: they need to make sense when the hair curls.
We’re thinking about where each curl lives, where the light naturally hits, how much contrast the curl pattern can support and what happens when those curls shrink back into place.

Done well, the lighter pieces don’t compete with the texture.
They show it off.
This is one of our favorite things about dimensional color on curly hair—the color changes every time the curl moves.
Curly friends: do you prefer your highlights subtle or do you want to SEE them?

➕Want to be really blonde without looking like one solid sheet of blonde? This is the difference.

Brightness gets the attention.

Dimension is what makes the blonde look expensive.

Keeping intentional depth between lighter pieces gives the hair contrast, movement and a softer grow-out—while strategic brightness around the face gives you that I am definitely blonde feeling.

It’s also why two people can show us the exact same inspiration photo and leave with completely different formulas and placement.

Great blonding isn't about putting highlights everywhere.
It’s about knowing where they need to go.

If your goal is bright blonde with dimension and a grow-out that still looks intentional, bring us the pictures. We love dissecting them with you.

➕The bob is not going anywhere. And honestly, we’re fine with that.

But “a bob” can mean about 47 different things.

Blunt. Soft. French. Shaggy. Layered. Jaw length. Chin length. Collarbone-ish-but-we’re-still-calling-it-a-bob.
This one gets its personality from the movement.

Soft layering keeps the shape from feeling too heavy, while the longer fringe opens up around the face and gives you plenty of styling options.

Wear it smooth. Tuck it. Give it some bend. Let it air dry a little messy.

It doesn’t have to behave perfectly to look good.

And that’s one of the reasons shorter haircuts can feel so good: suddenly the shape is doing a lot of the work for you.

If you’ve been saving bob photos to your camera roll for six months, this may be your sign to finally bring them to your consultation.

The sound water 💦 makes……
The sound of freshy highlights being mixed up 🤌🏼
“It’s fall, shouldn’t I go darker”?
NO! Do what makes you feel best, we can play with glosses, and placement, but you wanna be blonde? BE BLONDE!! I got you.

➕This is why extensions aren’t just about adding length.

Swipe back to the beginning, because this transformation is a combination of custom color + extensions working together.
Before adding any hair, we have to think about the entire finished result: where the color needs brightness, where it needs depth, how the extensions will blend into the natural hair, and how much density we need to make the new length actually look believable.
Because adding 10 inches is the easy part.
Making those 10 inches look like they grew out of your head? That’s the craft.
The dimensional color helps create a seamless transition from her natural hair into the extensions, while the added length and fullness completely change the overall shape. Once everything is blended, cut and styled together, you shouldn’t be looking at the finished result wondering where her hair ends and the extensions begin.
That’s the goal.
Not “extension hair.”
Just really good hair.
If you’ve been thinking about extensions because you want more length, more fullness, or both, the consultation is where we figure out what will actually work for your hair, lifestyle and maintenance expectations.
