Unfortunately, La Barbecue has lost their Michelin star

The Chili’s at 45th and Lamar YET again retains their Michelin Star. The tenderest of ribs, and the coldest of margaritas consistently on their game.

⭐️ TWO NEW STARS FOR AUSTIN ⭐️

Giant congrats to @kappokappoaustin & @fabrikatx 🚨

Kappo Kappo is fantastic - I was lucky enough to visit in December. Really blew me away. The two head chefs are sweet hearts and uber talented. This is very cool and I’m very happy for them ❤️

I have not had any luck getting in to Fabrik but this is awesome for them - guessing it’s not gonna get any easier for me to get a ressy 😂

@goldeesbbq out of Fort Worth was promoted to a star - I believe this is Fort Worth’s first star 🤝

@cuantostacos512 • @lasantabarbacha • @daidue • @mercadosinnombre • @craftmeats • @nixtataqueria • @oddduckaustin • @parishbarbecue • and @veracruzfonda retained their Bib status

These awards are a little silly - but it’s good to be informed and aware - plenty of fantastic spots in Austin are nowhere to be found on these lists 💪 for example, not one mention of the free prime rib buffet at Palazio or the new brunch at @thecopperheadclub 😂 but seriously think they missed Paprika… and Este / Suerte are under recognized BIG TIME imo

Anyway - congrats to those folks receiving recognition today 😤
