After surviving Houston's hottest June on record, I made it through by staying cool, comfy and cute in some summer dresses. Target has some really cute ones right now and they're not all Little House on the Prairie style either! Go buy multiple colors! #targetstyle #targetfinds #target #louisvuitton #fashion #summerdress #summervibes #summertime #summersandals

Covered bridges. They always get me. This wasn't a very "cool" covered bridge but, it'll do for a short day trip.

I got to cut this handsome guys hair today. He requested the Jason Momoa look, so we did it. 4 years ago we took the pic in the bathroom to show how tall he'd gotten over me, today we took another, I'm so short compared to him!!!!😅😅 I luv him!!!❤️

Storm coming in from the east into Ennis Texas yesterday as I stopped at Buccees on my way back into Houston. Luckily beat that storm, but I had already driven through one just as bad or maybe worse.

After a very harsh winter on the tropical patio here in The Woodlands, I've restarted the garden from scratch this year. After the freeze in February, I lost every plant I had except ONE inside, my orchid. I had plants that were going on 5-6 plus years old that didn't survive the brutal cold spell we experienced.

Much patience has gone into this year. I've dealt with weird bugs and plant diseases and strange weather. However, look at these beauties!

My jalapenos aren't perfect - they've really struggled the most, but these red chili peppers and hot banana peppers are both growing amazingly well. The banana pepper is H-U-G-E! My hibiscus has finally come back and started showing off with some gorgeous blooms also. And you can't go wrong gardening in this Texas heat with a nice cold, locally brewed beer. Thanks #LonePintBrewery for the afternoon break! 🍻

Anyway, enjoy my little 3rd story garden... It's a little spicy, but colorfully pretty! 😂🤪❤️🌶️🌿

Another older pic from a day well spent hiking in New Mexico. This was taken 2 years ago in 2019 at the Fenton Lake Fish Hatchery, near the Jemez Springs area. It's so peaceful... 😍😍
