ad Golfers live longer, sleep better, have lower blood pressure, and report lower stress levels, so I decided to see what the hype was about for myself by attending my first golf lesson at @kenmaregolfclub this week. I spent the morning with Captain Angela learning the fundamentals, like a grip and body positioning, spending the morning outdoors, moving my body, chatting and laughing. I honestly get the appeal, and it’s easy to see why golfers are so healthy. Once we finished up on the course, we headed back to the clubhouse to refresh with some collagen and hear more about the Two Sisters Tournament this summer, which is so proud to be sponsoring. And that’s when I realised that golf is so much more than just the game. It’s about friendship, community, and connection. I honestly can’t wait to play again. There was a time my mind was always somewhere else Thinking about tomorrow Replaying yesterday Worrying about things that hadn’t even happened yet. And then i found Yoga. What started as a physical practice became something so much deeper. It taught me how to come home to myself. This week felt like a big step forward for me building @yawuwstudio and @curtainsandco.ie I recently hired the Marketing guru/Creative Director Cathy Lawson and last week she introduced me to the highly experienced Fashion Commercial Director, Yvonne Long. I had not planned on hiring someone with Yvonnes experience/background but after speaking with her, I knew that the 3 of us would make an incredible team and be able to execute my growth strategy for YAWUW. I redid my strategy for the year to visually present the BIG picture vision across all departments ( love using @jesseitzler Big A## calendar ) and everything that needs to happen to grow the business. We had our first team meeting and thankfully the team are on board with it/excited for the goals ahead! Now to transfer that info into a digital deck, eck. Welcome to YAWUW Cathy and Yvonne! Some of the things that happened this week in photos: Our first team meeting in my studio, on site with my team with Curtains and Co. Measuring up a new build in West Cork and on a site in North Cork measuring up for a housing estate with 180 homes. And, lots of orders on these pieces for YAWUW got posted! And that’s a wrap on Christmas decorating 2025🤶🏼🎄 I have to say this one might be my favourite yet! The loveliest family are spending their first Christmas in their beautiful new home and its the nicest feeling ever to get to make that extra special for them🥰 I filled this Christmas garland with real greenery and eucalyptus so the house smells amazing🌿 I created this scheme from scratch as its their first year there, we worked together on what styles they love and would suit the house and then I sourced and installed their stair garland and one over the fireplace too.
