Printers Row Lit Fest is always a wonderful weekend in Chicago, a time to reconnect with friends and make new ones, and to be immersed in literature.
I especially loved participating in the Writers Who Run panel with Brian
Hieggelke, Robert Scoop Jackson, Ugochi Nwaogwugwu, and Heidi Stevens, moderated by Malissa Rodenburg.
And we had the bonus of two days of beautiful weather except for a little rain on Sunday which dampened no one's enthusiasm.

What a night.

A house full of art, noise, laughter, old friends, new friends, wildly creative people, and maybe a little too much wine.

Exactly how I like it.

Huge thanks to everyone who showed up, hung out, looked at the work, asked questions, met somebody new, and made the whole place buzz.

Still smiling.

More of this, please. ❤️

📚 In Honor of National Book Lovers Day!

One of the greatest gifts of writing a book is discovering what stays with a reader after they close it.

Today, we’re celebrating "A Legacy Built" by @creativecompanylaura , the story of @gormanusa , and Gary Gorman’s lasting impact on affordable housing.

We put together something special based on linguist @ruslana2 's thoughtful reflection on the book. ✨

Swipe through to see what stayed with her.

When it’s your amazing friend @creativecompanylaura Birthday week and she asks you to go sailing you say, “YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!”

We watched the sunset over Madison. It was a really beautiful end to the day. So grateful for this first experience, laughter, & time (checked it off the bucket list). 😇
