Did you know that SF Environment helps local businesses adopt sustainable practices? Some of these businesses include local icons like @elriosf, @colehardware, @creativeideascafe, and over 400 more all over the City!

On average, businesses in the Green Business program save 280,000 kWh of electricity, divert 146,000 pounds of waste from landfills, and save over 1 million gallons of water every year!

SF Green Businesses are dedicated to serving their clients and fostering a reciprocal relationship with the Earth by protecting it. At the Green Business Awards Ceremony, we celebrated their commitment to implementing sustainable practices that protect the livelihoods of our communities!

Congratulate them by showing your support! Find a Green Business in your neighborhood at SFGreenBusiness.org (LINK IN BIO).

🇨🇴 Top 5 Colombian food recommendations in SF

These are in no particular order nor a collab post. I can personally vouch for all of their foods (most I’ve tried multiple times). This is Hispanic Heritage Month so I wanted to spotlight the businesses so they’re extra supported. Also, if want catered food for an event, please consider them :)

🇨🇴🇵🇪@pacificosf | The owner is Colombian, went to culinary school in Peru, and used to work at one of the top Peruvian restaurants. That’s reflected in his high-end dishes that are primarily a Colombian-Peruvian Fusion.

📍Hayes Valley next to the SF Jazz Center

🇨🇴🇲🇽@creativeideascafe | This is the only Colombian bakery in SF. They also offer a large variety of cozy, typical foods. Along with Mexican and Colombian-Mexican fusion meals.

📍Visitacion Valley (Southeast SF).

🇨🇴🍰@dulce_mana20 | Their homemade arequipe (dulce de leche) is their signature ingredient. The owner is a talented baker who makes custom cakes. Orders can be made by DMing their Instagram page.

🇺🇸🥑@avotastysf | Not Colombian food but is being featured as it’s Colombian owned and they roast in-house Colombian coffee. They’re most known for their avocado toasts. It’s also a good spot to work remotely from.

📍FiDi and Marina.

@danielf_sanchez | Chef Daniel hosts monthly Colombian pop-ups. His next one is today (October 5th) at Propagation (Lower Nob Hill).

Let me know if you already tried any of their foods and tag in the comment section any Colombian spots you recommend in the overall Bay Area!
