Where graphic illustration meets the tactile art of ceramics Discover the beauty in the overlooked with Susie Hallows ( @shallowpottery ) creations at our forthcoming @connections_at exhibition Susie creates ceramics that challenge us to pause and appreciate the small details of everyday life. By distilling the essence of the Sussex coastline and the natural world into minimalist shapes and silhouettes Her unique process blends illustration with pottery. She uses hand-cut stencils to reveal the raw, natural clay beneath a glazed surface, creating a striking tactile contrast. Join us at The Atrium, Marine Workshops, Newhaven, from 10th–15th November 2026 to experience these pieces firsthand. To truly appreciate the precision of these silhouettes and the interplay of texture and glaze, Susie's work is best seen in person. Full of character and quietly observed character!
