Kimberley Piet who did marketing
Marissa Whitmore who helped us with tech
Sarina Aboud for stage management and her grandmother’s sarees
Steph Gancayco for the trippy soundscapes(!!!)
Jared Gochuico and Hannah Bond who helped set up projection and hooked the screen up
Christian Linaban who shot and color corrected the dream sequence
Brandon Leland who did fight choreo
Fiona Conlon who did makeup for the dancers
Our amazing cast!
Bechay Galang

William Brosnahan
Our beautiful dancers

“Society teaches girls shame from a young age. “Cover yourself. Close your legs. Be a lady.” As if simply being born female makes us already guilty of something wrong.” Those girls grow up to be women that often live their lives based off society’s standards of behavior that dictate how to dress, how to act, how to speak, how to live. We teach women to hide their bodies, to be afraid of their own sexuality, like it’s something to be ashamed of. My entire child/teenage life consisted of being told what to do and not do with my body. I had been hiding in my own skin all of my life, but once I truly started to love myself and freed my mind from limiting beliefs others had instilled in me, I didn’t want to be told what I could or couldn’t do with my own body. I don’t need anyone’s approval or act based on what the society will find “appropriate”. How I choose to express myself, is not for your pleasure, nor is it to ‘distract’ you. Our sexuality, spirituality and creative energy are all powerful forces that are all strongly connected. We have been taught to be ashamed of this power, of our bodies, of our sexuality, this creative energy that is our birthright. Every one of us all have the ability to transmute our creative sexual energy into other areas of our life for the purpose of creating or manifesting wealth, happiness, love, health, and anything else we seek.
