THE PROPOSAL STORY >>>

I hid behind a rock at Mount Rainier, arriving at a whopping 5am for a grueling hike to my favorite spot, then tracked Kyle on Life360 to make sure I'd be ready when they get there. (Don't worry, no flowers were stepped on - they were on a separate trail from me.)

He took his sweet time getting set up and then popped the question... I was so far away I couldn't hear a single thing!!! But I KNOW she was so excited because that girl was jumping up and down the whole time.

The mountain stayed out literally just for sunrise before fading into the fog for the rest of the morning.

Hehehhe their cute little fist bumps. She was so proud because he had been so sneaky... she literally was like "idk if I can even trust you anymore" because he did so good :)

AHHH I LUV HER SO MUCH I CAN'T WAIT FOR ANOTHER SISTER-IN-LAW !!!

And then we went adventuring for a bit and took some more photos, but I wanted to keep it low-key because she hates the fake candid photos.

The sun and the fog were so gorgeous for us. I ended up leaving shortly after to hear home and they spent the rest of the day on the mountain, exploring together as their first engaged-couple activity 🥰

Some places just make a moment feel a little more magical. Add the love between these two and Mount Rainier in the distance, I’m sold. E + M, I love you both so so big 🥹🫶🏼

Somewhere between the trees, beneath the golden light, lives a little piece of my whole heart. 🍂🤎✨

Being miles away from the people you love most has a way of reminding you just how much of your world lives in them. How home isn’t always a place, but a feeling. A pair of familiar arms, a little forehead resting against yours, the quiet moments you wish you could hold a little longer.

I captured this moment between my two favourite souls while I was in Australia, and I think a part of me will always live inside photographs like these.

A reminder of what matters most. Of the love that stretches across oceans, the moments that become memories far too quickly, and the little pieces of forever we get to keep.

Yesterday was such a good day. 🥹🤎

The cooler weather, the prettiest foggy fall day, and getting to document a love like theirs. I swear this weather makes me feel like a whole new human.

With maternity leave coming to an end, I wasn’t entirely sure I was ready to step outside my little newborn bubble just yet. But yesterday was such a sweet reminder of how much I love this part of my life, too.

I’ve missed this. And I couldn’t have asked for a better day or sweeter people to ease back into things with.
