A week ago Parable of the Sower opened its final run of the 2023 season, and after three sold out shows at David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center, we ended our year.

I still can’t believe we did that. I am forever grateful for my Parable family. We laughed, we cried, we held each other up, and we sang with thousands of people from all over. Together, we created more than just a show. We created a community.

Thank you Toshi, Eric, Signe, and Chris for trusting me and helping me learn to trust myself. Thank you Laura, Noah and Devin for always making sure I am fed and have water (and most importantly caffeine). Thank you company for always having each others back. We made a lot of beautiful memories this year.

Til next season my friends. I’m so proud of us ❤️

This is only a small sampling of the joy we had at @lincolncenter closing the 2023 tour of @parableopera.This Is It!! I am so in love with the cast, band & crew on this show. It has been a privilege to raise my voice in song with you, to break bread and share our lives if only for this brief moment. These people are truly some of the best humans on the planet. Thank you to everyone who came to see the show. Thank you! New York you showed up & showed out! Hands down the best audiences of the run. As always I am in deep gratitude. Life is but a dream. Live yours. 💜💫

I did a thing...for the last (about) 6 months. We did a thing! Today I slept most of the day. Haven't been able to do that in months. I am in deep gratitude to my Parable fam. We held each other up. We pulled each other through. We laughed & cried together. We made great art. I can't wait to see what we do next individually and together, if not in full then in part. More pics & vids to come, but I just wanted to acknowledge coming through yet another portal. Give Thanks. 🙏🏽

It has taken me a whole week to emotionally & energetically return to New York. I had a great time in Cali with my Parable fam. Here is just a little bit of the time we had @cal_performances. This is Pt.1 of my time in the Bay. @parableopera is on a short break, but we'll return to @strathmorearts in June & @lctheater in July. See you all soon!
