Gilar Wanda continued his rich vein of form with yet another superb all-round performance to help Titans CC score a comfortable 58run win

Java Agro India XI started well with the ball with 2 early wickets but then Gilar exploded with a 28 ball 59. Divit Nanda anchored well from the other end and skipper Ashish Gupta chipped in as well to take Titans CC to a big score of 248 in their 30 overs. Harsh was the pick of the India XI bowlers with a 4 wicket haul

Santosh provided some fight in the case with a 50 but didnt get enough support from anyone else as Gilar rounded off a good day with a 4 wicket haul #jcaleague

The run machine Sakthi Seelan was at it again as his second ton of the season setup a massive 154 run victory for Challengers CC in a T20 game!

The only brief sniff Rebels CC had was hen Gaurav Tandon took a couple of quick wickets after a blazing Challengers start. Sakthi stayed till the 17th over and with good support from Karthickkeyan, ensured Challengers posted a mammoth 233 in their 20 overs

In what was always going to be a daunting chase, Rebels CC were never in the hunt and Yuvaraj's 4/8 sealed their fate pretty quickly #jcaleague

Rushikesh played a key role with both the bat and the ball to help his team Senayan CC prevail by 3 wickets in a very tight game against SDAM Rasuna CC

Both innings followed a similar pattern of strong starts followed by top order collapse, and then a middle order rescue. In a game of tight margins, Senayan CC prevailed owing to a quick start which reduced run-rate pressure for the later batters #jcaleague

🌍 Japan turned the Asian Games cycle into a blueprint for Associate cricket growth.

Rather than treating the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games as a standalone tournament, Naoki Alex Miyaji, Alan Curr and the Japan Cricket Association built around the event—connecting international cricket with infrastructure, commercial partnerships, government support and local engagement.

🏏 Korogi Sports Park, a remodelled baseball facility, hosted six ICC Men’s T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific Qualifier matches before becoming the Asian Games cricket venue.

🤝 Japan then hosted reigning T20 world champions India at Sano International Cricket Ground. Although Japan lost the rain-shortened five-over T20I by two runs, the fixture brought together sponsorship, diplomacy and community engagement, with Suzuki Motor Corporation as title partner alongside other Japanese and Indian commercial partners.

The cycle also demonstrated how global leadership and strong Member-level execution can combine. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia credited ICC Chairman Jay Shah’s initiative with helping create the India-Japan fixture, while Japan Cricket converted that opportunity into wider value.

India later completed the Asian Games cricket double by winning both gold medals. But, as Abhiram S. Yadav argued, the Associate development scorecard should also measure stronger facilities, partnerships, government confidence, audiences and international opportunities.

The strategic lesson is clear: major events already moving teams across regions can create windows for bilateral series, standalone internationals and compact neutral events. 🌏 A major event should leave cricket stronger than it found it—and Japan has shown how.
