i keeping coming back to these photos taken by @nocountryforgoldman of me performing this january at @thenookonrobinson. this was such a magnificent night and one of the happiest i’ve ever had. i’m so grateful to everyone who makes performing possible by attending, participating or hosting and i can’t wait for the dates i have coming up. if you’ve ever been involved in any capacity in a show of mine, thank you for sweating with me!

i’m so genuinely happy and my heart is so full from how many people helped make tonight the best possible first show of the year for me, from so many amazing people turning out to support @platonic.valentine’s *amazing* first show ever to everyone who was there to see @bacongreaseband conjure magic to everyone who stuck around to dance and jump and let loose with me while i screamed and shot bubbles and sang like my life depended on it (it kinda did and kinda does; performing lately makes me feel technicolor after ages of black and white). it means the world to get to create moments and spaces and times where we can all just be sincerely ourselves and have a ball without any worry or concern for anything else, to levitate and express ourselves and find community and unity and raw, undiluted joy in the dark of the world. no bullshit, no anxieties, no pressure, just free reign to splash onto the canvas of reality together and see how the shades blend. can’t wait to bleed more hair dye and dance with y’all soon 💚
