Im kalten Februar hab ich mich in Bilder von diesem bunten #grannystripeshawl nach einer Idee von @crochetobjet verguckt. Da saß ich im Ferienhaus , also unserem Übergangszuhause und los ging's ...
Aus der Ecopuno von Lana grossa hab ich ausnahmsweise mal gehäkelt statt gestrickt.
Und im Urlaub am Meer hat das Tuch mich wunderbar gewärmt 💜❤️💚🩷

Yesterday @tanyasingerknits and I went on an adventure to the Ohel in Queens. It is the Chabad Rebbe’s grave. Whenever I need to fill up my spiritual cup and really send prayers and give thanks, I come here and I’m so lucky to have it nearby. People come visit this spot from all over the world. It’s near both airports so it’s very normal to see luggage everywhere.

We got there on a super quiet day. I wasn’t sure how it would be between Rosh hashana and Yom Kippur but this was definitely the time to go.

We wrote our notes, lit our candles, and visited the grave. Then we ripped up our notes and threw them in. It’s so beautiful and meaningful. Everything I’ve ever prayed for at the Ohel has come true. It’s a very very different comparison, but for me it gives me the feeling of being at the Kotel (Western Wall).

Then I took Tanya to the neighborhood where I grew up and it blew my mind to be there with her! So nice to spend the day together ❤️

Kinsey's Cardi isn partied out - good think she has another project to squeeze! This is her FOURTH HexaGranny Cardigan by Toni Lipsey and I have to tell you....She's already started a fifth.
