LeBlanq Laps x BAZ & Co 🪴

Today we explored the Chiltern hills as our partnership with @bazandcoskincare brought us to the stunning Walled Garden Cafe in West Wycombe. The route took in some fantastic local lanes and a punchy climb!

Our riders enjoyed delicious pastries, brownies and coffee then were treated to BAZ goodie bags whilst they learned about the products and their natural ingredients.

We already can’t wait to return to the Chilterns for some more laps, see you on the next one!

So as the year is coming to and end, let's look at where this duck started. From an idea of putting a squeaky duck on the bike, to others wanting to join. The local club rides, to foreign countries and multi day bike packing trips. From making kids laugh and dogs bark, the idea of wearing lycra not so serious.

And then we were done…

Whilst the CP’s never close, they do have manned hours and I’d stayed an hour or so longer than planned to see as many of the near constant stream of riders through as possible.

But with @jwshale nearing the finish line it was time to leave CP1 @grub_ritual and head back to base!

The Golden Arches…

With works scheduled to be underway on the cycle lane of the Medway bridge we’d put in a diversion through Rochester to bypass the bridge.

It wasn’t perfect and Rochester at 10:00pm at night is not the best place to be cycling really but it did at least mean there was a good location for a pit stop now right on the route!

For 2024 we shall return to the bridge so this was a one-off. Only half the riders stopped here with many opting for a stop at the now traditional resupply point at the Shell petrol station on Bluebell Hill!
