Great American comfort food at its finest. Crosby Kitchen was PACKED on a weekday, that should tell you something! Service was great and food was even better. Highly recommend.

Cubs lost but I only mentioned billionaires ruining everything once today, so I’d call it a successful trip to Wrigley. 💙⚾️

Had such a cozy meal at Crosby’s Kitchen on the Southport Corridor in Lakeview — warm, friendly, and exactly the kind of neighborhood spot that makes you want to come back. Their menu leans into comforting American classics, and the service made the whole experience feel extra welcoming.

We started with the filet sliders and lobster deviled eggs, then moved on to the Maryland crab cakes and Bang Bang Steak Salad. For sides, we had the buttery grilled asparagus and crispy Brussels sprouts with bacon, candied jalapeño, sherry vinegar, and parmesan.

But dessert was my favorite part — the homemade carrot cake was so moist, full of real carrot, and had that comforting homemade feel. And the warm skillet cookie with vanilla ice cream and caramel was such a good finish. 😍

Save this one for a casual date night, family dinner, or your next Southport neighborhood outing. ❤️
