At the Women’s Sports Alliance, female athletes have always been at the core of everything we do.

That’s why it’s fantastic to see the impact @metro_bank and @englandcricket are having with the Metro Bank Girls in Cricket Fund.

It’s been a blockbuster year, with major wins for women’s international cricket, 461 new female coaches trained and a 76% growth in the number of girls’ teams since the start of the Fund in 2023.

Together, they’re helping more women and girls discover, and stay in cricket.

A summer of signs - 24 games later..

We’ve been up and down the country Durham, Edgbaston, Old Trafford, Lords, The Oval, Headingley

Test matches, 10th Birthday at the World Cup opener, a World Cup final, the Hundred eliminator and final, did the coin toss with Stuart Broad at The Oval, got on the field at Lords meeting @sunrisersleeds legends and plenty of games for Yorkshire

We’ve enjoyed the endless sunshine, spent quality time with @linseysmith95 and watched one of our favs @crossy16 play her final season in The Hundred and the last game of her career 🙌 Enjoy your retirement Kate!

Meanwhile Theo’s passion for cricket continues to grow, after making his hardball debut he has endless ambitions to be a Leg spinner (loves working on the Googly!)

Roll on the spring 🏏
Now onto the football ⚽️

Hey guys!

Just a reminder that we're still here! Crossy is enjoying some family time and Al is of course also enjoying her break as you can see from the photo above! We're just having some time off from the game, but we will be back after we've rested and relaxed!

Love you all!

Had the absolute pleasure of covering the Annual PCA Awards in London last week. Such an amazing event and always a privilege to be there.
