Green Day
“Walking Contradiction”
i love working on music videos and been lucky enough to have done many many everything from @twistedsisterofficial , @duranduran , @taylorswift countless others.
They are fun and very creatively liberating.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,
Director/Uber cool - Roman Coppola asks me if i want to work with @greenday doing a 3 day fun job,
however one thing he wanted was that the Band HAD to be included in every action shot, no cuts, no doubles, just them in the shot.
i met them and they were the fkng coolest dudes.
We came up with a plan, and because we didn’t have much money, i had to actually do a majority of the stunts myself. See if you can spot me throughout the vid.
it was a fun 3 days a long long time ago….

working in Hawaii is always great.
However,
one of the highlights of this particular trip was working with Jack Gill, @actionjackgill .
if anyone asks me my opinion on THE top 10 stuntmen in the business,
his name would be near the top. This guy would be one of few Dictionary’s descriptions if you looked up Stuntmen.
First met Jack when i was in my early 20s on
“Dukes of Hazzard” this guy could do it all, he did big ass stunts,
and was as cool as ever,
i was in awe. Over the years i would work and become friends with this man, my admiration and respect would only grow.
this guy also personifies class. Jack was and still is one of the guys i wanna grow up to be like as a Stuntman, and as a class act.
Anyone that knows him,
already knows this about him.
Anyway besides working w BB🦆, hangn w Jack was definitely a highlight on this trip.

“The Eddie”
and on Thurs 2/2/23,
you are hanging with a completely different Eddie,
better have ur bail money and be ready for anything.
Luke Shepard, @casualluke
It was a pleasure.
You are a nice, humble man,
a World Champion,
and a super cool dude.
it was my pleasure.

1/6/23 10pm
what a wonderful dinner/evening.
i cringe and think about the term “legend” is so friggn overused, and very rarely deserved
so I’m not gonna go there,
However having dinner and trading old stories with these Gentlemen and the many years and Adventures we have all experienced and actually lived through.
What a fun night.
you may have heard of such films such as, i dunno,
“Speed” or a little film,
“Jurassic Park”,
“Fast n Furious thousands”
“Hook” a few more, etc etc,
blah blah blah,
These guys, Gary Hymes, @007director,
or perhaps Jack Gill, @actionjackgill, or Steve Kelso, these men have been responsible for bringn y’all some of THE biggest Action sequences on film.
Doubt me, just look’m up.
Anyway, tonight is a bout dinner and drinkn and laughing about all the shit we’ve gotten away with,
and somehow stayed alive doin it and having fun the entire time.
The years add up, but so do the stories, and the more we drink, the bigger the stories and stunts.
No, i won’t use the term “legend” but some of the stuff we have done and the adventures we have shared are for the books.
Yes, what an evening, and what memories that are priceless…..
theres that one time Hymes called from Boston,
said hurry, get on a plane he wanted me to be a nun on
“the Town” and wreck some shit all over Boston…..
Oh the stories, but i don’t remember most of them.
And they call this work ??
i call it - years of Adventures, Fun, and i guess work.
Here’s to many more years of fun, work, memories,
and oh yeah, the cash.
What a job,
what a life,
what a fkng Adventure !!!
The ride continues…..
