in honoring of my graduation (yesssss, i have a BACHELOR’S DEGREE HUNNY!!), here’s there first journalism piece i wrote in college.

s/o to @kaylakimvotapek and @cheymodee for being the first folks i interviewed for a story in my university career 😊 the writing technique and storytelling continues to evolve, but the mission was always there!

i was told this story “isn’t news,” as if news can’t include fashion, culture, identity, and nuance.

i truly believe i was always the person shifting people and spaces before they were ready to change.

It’s a very tribal summer 🌞

If you’re into Afro House, Tribal House & Tech, Organic House, global rhythms, and spiritually-driven sound journeys — there’s a community waiting to welcome you.

This year has been deeply inward for me. A season of reflection, healing, transformation, and reconnecting through music, movement, and spirit. I’m grateful to channel that journey into spaces of shared energy and expression on the dance floor.

Music has always been more than entertainment to me, it’s ritual, connection, and release.

Grateful to be part of some beautiful lineups this summer and excited to share these moments with you.

Many more to come.

Very excited to announce this event! I’m honored to be a part of Humanity, an artistic 3 day festival from 1/26 - 1/28. Each dj/steamer recorded one hour of music, visuals, art and other creative endeavors for you to enjoy from your favorite comfy corner.

Our very good friend @svpa.exe has organized this amazing event for a third year in a row, and on their birthday no less! It’s a cyberpunk infused feast for the eyes and ears, with each day set in a virtual club with different themes. I saw it last year and was blown away by the entire experience. Please join us and bring your comfiest dancing jammies. There’s an insane amount of talent, love, and energy poured into this that you won’t wanna miss, I promise you

It starts Monday at 11am pst/2pm est. See you at 3pm pst 👽

🌐HUMANITY🌐: 3RD ANNUAL 3-Day 100% online showcase of various sounds & art of underground dystopia & directly influenced by mid-pandemic lockdown festivals, like @porterrobinson ’s Secret Sky.

In April 2025, I even threw a one-off “alpha test run” of a ticketed Humanity hybrid show (livestreamed at an IRL space), which reached maximum capacity…the interest you’ve all kept showing me is still incredibly humbling. ❤️

❗️26/01-28/01 (This is doubling as my birthday celebration!)🎂

‼️Split into 3 daily segments, all on one Twitch channel (mine), you will find 24+ musicians, each providing you with 1 hour of sonic entertainment, maximally authentic to each artist & their styles. 8+ HOURS each day total, and each fitting to the theme of the club we visit, per day.‼️

💙DAY 1 - Club Empathy💙: **SENSUAL Deep House, Deep Techno, Trance, Deep Electronic, Future Funk, etc**
Home of shady deals, sensual relaxation & earthly vices.
“The next level if you’re looking for braindance sessions and live striptease.” -Pleasures of Night City (2077)

❤️‍🔥DAY 2 - TOTENTANZ❤️‍🔥: **ABRASIVE Industrial, Hardcore, Techno, Metal, Hardstyle, Goth, Noise, etc**
German for “Dance of Death”. The most popular gang club / “drink & riot” venue in Night City.
If a night at the Totentanz has a body count less than a dozen, it’s considered a boring evening.

💚DAY 3 - Afterlife💚: **HYPNOTIZING Breaks, Electro, Synthwave, Jungle, DNB, Hyperpop, Heavy Bass, Nu-Wave, etc**
The Afterlife. If you’re here, you clearly have enough street cred to have, at least, made it past the bouncer.
The most iconic bar in town, where all the most first-rate mercs & fixers come to relax or navigate biz. All the most legendary names even have a drink named after them here...will you become one of them?

🖤🖤🖤🖤

This is 24+ hours of FREE musical entertainment - a spotlight on a microscopic portion of artists that create & share their favorites in ways unique, authentic and certainly, special to most. Certainly me.
