Introducing "Gyals Night Out: The Pregame"

I heard Pon De Replay for the 1st time in Barbados, in 2005 fresh off the radio in my older sisters hair salon. 20+ years later, I discovered this remix and went back to the BIM 🇧🇧 and felt a gravitational pull to create a choreographed piece. I welcome you to the visuals and women that came to my mind as I listened to this song... I used the strong influences of Dancehall, Femmology, and Whining Styles to communicate through motion.

SIDE BAR: I cried when I got the video back from the videographer, I was working on transitions and figuring out what kinda shots I wanted for the whole visual, to see it all come together so beautifully was so spiritual and emotional. Like I FINALLY DID MY FIRST DANCE VISUAL 🥹‼️

4 MY OWN MUSIC VIDEOS I ALWAYS DIRECT MYSELF & FIGURE OUT THE LOCATIONS BUT THIS WAS DIFFERENT, THIS WAS ABOUT COMMUNITY, NOT JUST ME.. SUPER GR8FUL✨

♌️✨ SHE GAVE US “GET RIGHT”… SO WE HAD TO GIVE HER A MOMENT. ✨♌️

TAG @jlo and help us get this into her hands! 👀❤️

Leo Season felt like the perfect time to celebrate an icon who has given us so many unforgettable moments. ❤️‍🔥

We came together, fired up the grill, laughed, danced, turned the music up, and created our own little J.Lo celebration. 🔥🍗💃🏽🇵🇷
And because no birthday celebration is complete without candles… we saved one last moment for the Queen. 🎂🕯️👑

Jennifer Lopez, this tribute is for you.

If you know the energy… you KNOW the dance. 😮‍💨🔥
