POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Shoutout to all the filmmakers I met at @urbanworldff this year. The future of filmmaking looks bright after seeing such amazing films throughout my time in NYC. Hope to see you all again soon.

Be sure to check them all out. I’ve tagged them all in the photo.

Suffice to say, I can only really have deep, immense gratitude to help bring these stories to life and to audiences. None of this would be possible without the shoulders I stand on. My amazing advisors who believed in me throughout my career and when the idea came to give grants to talented storytellers, they said, "why not?" - @bulldog_shadow, @zeybarahman, @ba1245, @zentronix, @dianexguerrero, @markgonzalesco, @lmnop, @nikasoonshiong, Altaf Rahamatulla, and @mariaannmottola (special thanks to Stanford friend @maia.kazin for getting our ideas on paper).

Going into 2027, we have the bold vision of making five more grants and scaling them from $5k up to $35-50k. Ambitious, bold, yes, but everything seems impossible until it's done. We will need institutional partners and others to help us get there, so if you know anyone who wants to support this work, send them my way!

To see the films and learn about more about our fifth grant, read my LinkedIn article at the link in bio.

We are excited to share that @film4goodfund is partnering with @collectivemox to help filmmakers with the last mile of their projects and bring their work out into the world!

Our collaboration starts with two great projects, @theweightofsugarcane and @bananatheseries. It's an honor to support talented artists and emerging voices, and alongside with Collective Moxie, we are hopeful for what's to come!
