On a beautiful Sunday in Los Angeles, The House received guests, and a number of them brought humans along with them. It was quite lovely. Thank you to everyone who came, on two legs or four. With a proper soirée behind us, Kopegg is officially launched 🐩🤍

Thoughtfulness lives in the details. For some of us, love looks like remembering the little things, noticing what others need, and making people feel seen. But here’s your reminder: you deserve that same thoughtfulness from yourself. As I curate every detail of Fall Into YOU, I’m reminded that caring for others is beautiful, but knowing what you need and making space for it matters, too. You deserve to be someone you think about, too. #StateOfFeels #Thoughtfulness #IntentionalLiving #selfcarematters #stationery

Some memories have a scent 🌼🥹 Meet the Jasmine Pin, inspired by the flowers our parents and grandparents grew in their backyards to feel closer to home. The smell takes me back to running around the backyard with my cousins and catching the scent when we ran by or finding dead petals in our Grandma’s pockets and purse! 🥹 She also used to pick jasmine and make little bouquets for my mom too. How were Jasmine flowers part of your childhood? The Jasmine Pin is here. Find yours at the link in bio. 🫶🏽

No. 2: Kain Na My contribution to Did You Eat Yet? was supposed to end with “Kumain Ka Na Ba?” So when Ate Tiffany @itslookyay asked me to expand the project with her to two more designs I was so excited and immensely grateful. The making of “Kumain” opened up so many stories and connections I didn’t know I had, and sparked a new passion for using my art to flaunt my Filipino heritage, and the uniquely Filipino American experiences I’ve grown up with. “Kain Na!” came from an early exploration of what ultimately became the “Kumain” pin, in which I wanted to highlight a very recognizable household item that symbolizes the dinner table, and connects Filipinos and Fil Ams alike. The wooden kutsara and tinidor are such a staple of a Filipino household, that even Ate Tiffany recognized it from my rudimentary sketch, and asked for it’s inclusion. I couldn’t be happier that she also felt how strongly people would cling to the design, especially in the way that the design was altered to more closely match the floral theming of the first pin. They are usually designed with carvings that stick to the silhouette of each utensil, but for our design I opted for a flowing bundle of flowers that burst from the handles and reached for each other to really connect the two; the 4 flowers representing the stars and sun of the Filipino Flag. 🇵🇭 I hope this design brings you back to the dinner table the way it did for me. Again huge thank you to @crystlestudios for depicting the design in the perfect environment for it to thrive🫶

No. 1: Kumain Ka Na Ba When @comic.kody and I first sat down to talk about Did You Eat Yet?, I shared how my mother in law has shown me so much love through food. The meals she always had waiting for us, the baon she’d drop off at our door even when we weren’t home. It was the kind of care I hadn’t experienced growing up and one I knew I wanted to share with our own kids 🥹 But then Kody shared a perspective I hadn’t thought about before + it changed how I looked at this first design We often talk about how asking if someone has eaten is a Filipino way of saying “I love you.” But Kody shared that sometimes, it can also mean “I’m sorry.” Because just like some moms don’t always say “I love you,” they don’t always say “I’m sorry” either. Instead, you might see your mom standing at the door with a plate of food in her hands, face hidden in the shadows, but you hear her voice asking if you’ve eaten. And maybe that plate is her way of saying, “I may not always know how to say what I feel, but have you eaten? Are you full? Do you need anything?” and sometimes it can mean, “I’m sorry” too. It reminded me that the ways our families express love aren't always straightforward. Sometimes, care comes through the things they know how to give, even when the words we need are unspoken. ❤️‍🩹 If you look closely at this design, you’ll start to notice the details.. ..the floral pattern on the mom’s clothing, the colors inspired by Kody’s favorite Filipino dish, kare kare + even the font for Kumain Ka Na Ba, which Kody created from the MamaSita seasoning packet. That’s what I love so much about this design. Every detail was pulled from something familiar to Kody, little pieces of his own experience that he wanted to bring. 📸 Thank you @crystlestudios for bringing your creativity to this photo and helping bring the heart of Kumain Ka Na Ba to life 🥹💛
