KU Family Day 2026 💙❤️ was a perfect weekend. Our Avery Kate is graduating in May so Alexandra, made it to family weekend this year.

Friday night ~ Sigma Kappa mixer at Dempsey’s Bar.
Saturday ~ Tailgate at Avery Kate’s house before the game. We also met AK’s new Sigma Kappa house mom and saw their beautiful new library.

We missed my parents this year but dad was busy co-chairing his 60 high school class reunion. ❤️

We’ve also attended the last 5 years of KU Family Days with the Thrailkill family. With Carson graduating, that little tradition ended this weekend too.

👻🐈‍⬛ CHOOSE YOUR BOO! — GIRLY GHOST OR BLACK CAT?

When you walk into a Scribner Social, so much of the work has already happened before you ever pick up your first piece of mesh.

For Choose Your Boo!, it starts with the inspiration—imagining what these whimsical wreaths could become.

Then comes the cutting and shaping of every individual foam piece… painting… detailing… assembling… and handcrafting more than 100 individual pieces that will go into creating the wreaths for this one Social.

Yes… more than 100. 😳

Every ghost, every cat, every little detail is being created by hand specifically for this event.

Why?

Because I don’t want The Scribner Social to feel like just another craft class.

I want you to walk in and have the hard part already done—so you can enjoy the fun part: creating, customizing, laughing, having a drink, and leaving with something you’re genuinely excited to say, “I made that!”

That’s the difference between simply making a wreath and creating an experience. ✨

Choose Your Boo! 👻🐈‍⬛
October 15 | 6:00–9:00 PM
Choose the whimsical Ghost or Black Cat
$100 per person

Come see what all those little pieces become.

We still have room for you,l to create your own. Follow the link in our Bio for details and to reserve your spot!

About 48 hours of work…in under 60 seconds. 🍪⏱️
What you’re about to see definitely didn’t happen overnight. From designing and printing the custom cutters, to baking, icing, drying, detailing and packaging — there are a LOT of hours behind the finished product.
But here’s the thing…I genuinely love it.
This is something I do in my free time, usually in the evenings and on weekends. There’s something about creating with my hands, focusing on all the tiny details, and watching an idea slowly come together that clears my mind.
Some people relax by watching TV.
Apparently, I relax by spending 48 hours making cookies. 😂🍪
So here it is…48 hours of creating, condensed into less than a minute.

A little practice before we reveal some SWEET new options for Fall at The Scribner Social! 🍪🍂✨

Our sorority girl, Avery Kate, came home for the three-day weekend, so naturally I had to take advantage of the perfect excuse to practice my cookie decorating skills! 💜

And, of course, I couldn’t send her back to college empty-handed… so she and her roommates are heading back with a little Sigma Kappa sweetness to enjoy! 💜🕊️🍪

I’m still practicing, still learning, and having WAY too much fun with this new creative adventure. And pretty soon, these cookies are going to start looking a little more FALL. 👀🎃🍁

We have some really SWEET things coming to The Scribner Social—including new Fall experiences you can enjoy with us in person AND a little something for those who’d rather bring the fun home. 🎨🍪

Stay tuned… Fall at The Scribner Social is about to get a whole lot sweeter! 🍂✨
